The Best Valentines Day Morning EVER!

Matt makes me coffee every morning before he goes to work, so when Hudson and I wake up all I have to do is turn it on. It's a simple thing he does for me that says "I love you." Today was just like any morning (or so I thought). I walked in the kitchen to find a note by the coffee maker saying to call him....(the coffee was not prepared). So I called and he said get dressed we are going to La Madeline for breakfast. YEA!!! It's our favorite coffee and breakfast place. So I rushed to get Hudson and I ready, and Matt was home in 5 minutes. He went to our bedroom and came out with 2 of the sweetest valentines. 2 hearts that he had made with "love" words he cut out all over them, and the sweetest letter from Matt glued on the back. One heart was from him and the other from Hudson. You think I am finished, don't you?? Well, I'm not. We had to take 2 cars to La Madeline so Matt could leave straight from there and go to work. I start my car and hear the song "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt blaring. I just burst into tears because he is just the sweetest, most thoughtful, romantic man that I have ever met. I fall deeper in love with Matthew Mullins every day.

What makes this day even better is the hot date we get to go on tomorrow night. Our church youth group and parents are offering free babysitting for couples with young children. This will be our 3rd date since Hudson was born. We are going to Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. This will be our 3rd year in a row to go there for Valentine's Day! It is one of the nicest, romantic restaurants ever! I love thinking back to our first time there. It was our first Valentines Day married and we had only lived in Dallas for a month. We had the best time. Last year I was 4 months pregnant and we were so excited to become parents. And now this year....we have the most perfect 7 month old who we love unconditionaly...I couldn't be happier or more in love with both of the boys in my life. I can't wait for our date! I love getting all dressed up and going on a date with my hub!
