This was taken just the other day at the soccer fields in Frisco. Hudson was watching the game! Daddy was so proud!
This was Hudson right at a month old. We were visiting Mini and Papas house.
My baby boy turned 9 months old today! That's a WHOLE pregnancy! Now, tell me, why did my pregnancy seem to take forever?? I guess when you are so excited and filled with anticipation that one day can seem to take an eternity! I can't believe that in just 3 more months we will be celebrating his 1st birthday. I can remember people telling me when we first had him..."enjoy every second because it goes by fast." That's for sure!!! I try not to let a day pass without just taking it all in!
We went to the doctor this morning for Hudson's 9 month well-check apt. He did great. Only 1 shot this time and a finger prick. He is 20 lbs and 30 and 3/4 inches long. Some days I really do feel like he is growing right before my eyes. Crazy how fast they change and how quick they learn new tricks. These days Hudson is a speedy crawler. He crawls to anything he can pull up on, and then he walks around our furniture (holding on of course). We just know he'll be walking any time now. That boy is so adventurous. He is saying mamamama, dadadada, bababab....and other consonant vowel sounds. Developmentally, the doctor said he is fantastic! He loves to eat anything....not to big on baby food these days, so table food it is. He would much rather feed himself than us feed him. He loves being outside and playing with his daddy. Hudson just constantly amazes us every day! We are in love with our sweet boy!!!
