Birthday #1 and a FUN WEEKEND!

Yes, I did say birthday #1. Since we are getting ready to move we decided that we would celebrate Hudson's first bday 3 times. The first was this past weekend at Mini and Papa's house. The next one will be on his actual birthday (the 13th) with just the 3 of us. Then the 3rd one will be the following weekend with my family in Tyler. I was planning on having everyone come to us, but since we are in an apartment and life is hectic here...3 parties just sounded fun! Next year we'll be sure to host a fun party!

We had a great time in Wichita Falls. Matt's aunt, uncle, and cousins from Memphis came. We enjoyed everyone's company and enjoyed our time in the pool. Hudson had so much fun. He got sooo much stuff too. Thank goodness we are moving because I don't know what we would do with all his stuff! He is so cute playing with his toys. He has learned the "vroom" noise when playing with cars and trucks, and it is so cute watching him crawl around making the car sounds.

New words: boat, duck, maggie (the dog)
He loves to blow kisses and gives kisses to everything. We can tell him to kiss the chair and you'll hear a big mmmmm maaaa! He'll kiss anything....just precious!

I still am constantly amazed at how quick he is picking up on things. He likes to walk around now while holding our hands. We'll see when he picks that one up! Above are some really fun pictures of our great weekend!
