Last years Christmas card picture. Who could not love that face??
We have started a tradition around here. We are having family pictures taken in December and giving them as gifts to our family members. We did this last year, and I really like doing it because: 1). It's a good excuse to spend a lot of money on a good photographer. 2). It's very special to give to family members. 3). It is better than any gift we could actually buy for our family. 4). We get a great Christmas card picture taken.
It's so hard to believe that a year has passed since last Christmas. Here I had a 5 month old baby boy about to celebrate his very first Christmas, and now I have a very very active toddler who can say over 100 words!!! (NO joke, I have been writing them down this week). Then I stop and think about next years Christmas card. Here we will have an almost 2 and half year old and a 5 month old baby. It's amazing the life-changes that can happen in one year. That is one reason why I LOVE making special memories with pictures. One of the photos that was taken of Hudson, I am blowing up to a 16X20. It is such a beautiful picture of Hudson and totally captures who he is in the picture. It is one that I know I will treasure for years and years.
Oh...some fun news. Tuesday is my first sonogram!!! I am really excited to see this little peanut who is making me so darn sick. We are offically 9 weeks today!
What a pretty family!! I love Hudson's little outfit! Hope that you start feeling better soon!!! That first trimester is just yucky yucky!!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so great! I love the Christmas card picture! So cute! I can't believe how well Hudson is talking! 100 words is a TON for his age! Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't he have an 18 month old vocabulary at age 1? You have a smart boy on your hands.
