Our sweet Harper turned 3 months old on Friday. Here are a few of the things I love about Harper at 3 months:
- She loves her mommy! When I walk into a room and she sees me she grins from ear to ear. Mommy gets the BEST smiles!!
- She is a cuddly baby. She loves to be held. If I could I would sit and hold her all day long.
- She sleeps great. Sunday night she slept until 7:30 (after going to bed at 8 the night before). Can't beat that!!!
- She has such a sweet spirit about her.
- She only cries when she is hungry, dirty/wet diaper, sleepy, or just wants to be held. (And I can tell the difference between all those cries).
- Harper has just been such a joy already, and has already blessed us so much!
Let's face it....I just adore my kids!!!
A lot of people ask me if Hudson and Harper look alike. At times I see Hudson in Harper, but only in a few expressions that she makes. I think you can tell they are brother and sister with their big eyes and smiles. However, she has brown eyes like me and Hud has his daddy's blue eyes. These are 2 pics of Hud at 3 months. Look at his crazy hair!!! His first haircut was at 3 and 1/2 months. This was him with wild hair after a nap and the other is during a walk in his stroller.
These last few pictures were taken Saturday evening. They are too cute not to post.
Sunday, Hudson and Matt were goofing around and Hud bit thru his lip. It was sooo sad. There was so much blood and tears. I knew it was bad because I heard Matt stompin down the hall bringing him to me. Mommy to the rescue I guess. Matt always seems to do that when Hud gets hurt...just hand him off to me. BUT....once I saw all the blood and heard him screaming, I started seeing stars and feeling light headed. I had to stop and put my head between my legs. I really thought I might faint. So it was DADDY to the rescue!! Hud has been a trooper though. He bit it again 2 times yesterday, so his lip looks so much worse now than when these pictures were taken. I feel so sorry for him. I told Matt that if my lip looked and felt the way his does, I would go to bed for a day!! But I had to show his little pitiful mouth!

Oh my...how sad for Hudson! Looking at his new haircut, he looks so much like his Papa did when he was little. Harper...too cute! She looks like her Mommy and is so sweet. We love you!

Poor Hudson's lip. Poor MOMMY!! Micah fell and his tooth went threw his lip when he was about the same age. I FREAKED out!! Micah was more worried about me than hurt. I know exactly how you feel. Micah still has a little scar from it. Good for Matthew "stepping up to the plate". I remember when Lauren was a baby and fell out of her stroller when we were camping...he did not do well...he was screaming!! Ask him if he remembers.

ReplyDeleteOUCH! That looks painful! The nice thing about busted lips (if there is such a thing) is that they heal pretty quick! The pictures are great! It is fun to go back and look at pictures of baby #1 to compare to baby #2!!
