Halloween, Halloween, Halloween!!!

WOW! Happy November 1st. Now everyone can start the count-down to my bday! November 25th...mark your calendars! I LOVE November, and I am so glad it is feeling like Fall. Isn't it just beautiful outside? 3 weeks from today is Thanksgiving...NOW that is a crazy thought!

We had such a great weekend. We did not end up making it to the zoo. The kids decided to take a super long nap that day....but we are READY to renew those memberships!!!

Sunday night we went to church with our favorite Wolfe Fam! We had soooo much fun that evening. First of all Jason and Shelley (my cousin and her hub) were a part of the skits for the children's worship. It was sooo funny. Jason was a lunch lady and Shelley was a granny. It was so cute and I got some cute video....saved for a later date!

After church we headed outside for their trunk or treat. It was a BLAST! The kids had so much fun. Maddie was Hannah Montana, Walker was a Transformer, and Arden was a Frog. Sooo CUTE! I did not get a picture of all the kids together. Wish I would have. Once church was over they were on the go go go. Hudson had so much fun bouncing, riding a mini hayride, and of course trunk or treating. Harper and Arden were such troopers and so sweet. We really had the BEST time talking, laughing, and enjoying the PERFECT evening outside.

Tuesday evening we went outside to carve our pumpkin. Hudson was not too interested since all of his toys are outside. He'd play for a while then come check on daddy and see what he was up to. Hudson is a BIG smeller. He smells EVERYTHING before he eats it, or if something foreign gets on him...he's smelling it. Same goes for the pumpkin. You'll see in the picture below. Harper enjoyed being outside watching all the action.

Last night we went to a local church for their festivities. It was fun, but the trunk or treat was soooo much more fun. The kids were good, and I was glad they got to wear their costumes again. You can see from the 1 picture of the 2 of them together that they were in NO picture mood. And I have learned that if they are not willing to cooperate then just move on because making them cooperate just makes for disaster. Oh, and a word to all of you with thumb sucking children....don't even bother with the face paint. I had to do Harper's twice before we left the house, and by the time we got inside she had smeared it all over....I don't even know why I bothered. I thought they looked so cute.
