David Cook was AHHH-MAZING! I can remember being in middle school and loving this song. I loved the way he, as Paula ALWAYS says, made it his OWN! If you didn't watch you have gotta see it! He's my pick!! AND I have to mention that he sang this for his brother, who was in the audience, that is dying from brain cancer. So moving!

OH MY GOODNESS, I wondered who that was in the audience. I had NO idea it was his brother, but that explains his tears at the end of the song. I agree, it was AMAZING!

Anyway, I agree with you too! I live in Indiana not far from where David Cook's brother lives. I have a friend who is an attorney and she worked with his brother and knows him well. It is sooo sad:( His brother's last wish was to see David sing on AI and they made it possible! Well, anyway just wanted to say I agree with you and I enjoy reading your blog:)
