Fun at the Zoo.....

Well, sadly, I did not get the cold front memo! We ended up postponing our zoo trip from Friday to Saturday because Matt wanted to go with us. BEFORE I talk about our zoo day I have to say that I STAYED UP UNTIL 1:30 AM ON FRIDAY NIGHT/SATURDAY MORNING!!! Why you ask??? Because I FINALLY went to see Twilight with one of my favorite new San Antonio friends Brianna. She's a Twilight addict and had not seen the movie, so we went on a date to the movies. We had soo much fun. It was the LATE LATE show 10:40. You have to understand, people, that it's a stretch sometimes for us to make it to 10:00. I snuck in Starbucks and we had a great time! I really did love the movie too. I took Kelli's advice from her blog and went in with no expectations. My favorite part was when the Cullen's were introduced. WOW! It was sooooo good!! Just how I pictured them to be. I had so much fun and loved the movie.....ok, enough on that!

Yesterday morning we all got up and I dressed us all in our nice weather clothes only to find out that a cold front blew in Friday night! I had to change us all....ummm, that was fun. It still ended up being a great day for the zoo. The animals like the cooler weather, I think, because when it's hot they just hang out in the shade. We spent a couple of hours walking around, ate a picnic lunch, let the kids run around the petting zoo, and over all, had a great time. This zoo is starting to grow on me more and more. I became a FW Zoo snob and did not think I'd ever love another as much. After the kids nap Matt and I were able to go on a hot date. We went and ate sushi at our favorite place, Sushi Zushi. It is soooooooo gooooood! Other than church and grocery shopping this morning, we have been snuggled up indoors. I don't know about you, but we are ready for Spring to quit teasing us and come for good!! I love the weekends. They take forever to get here, then once they come the weekend flies by. Kind of like pregnancy. It seems to take sooooo long then once the baby comes 9 months flies by in just a blink!
