A Colorful Weekend!

Oh how I LOVE SPRING!! It has been FANTASTIC weather lately! I love when it's chilly in the morning/evenings, and then so nice during the day! This weather just doesn't last long enough! We had a great weekend with the kids. Fri night was our life-group.......always a highlight! Saturday we had Hud's soccer game. Immediately afterwards there was our neighborhood Easter egg hunt/pics with the Easter bunny. This park is brand new. It was finished being built in September. It is right down our street and we LOVE it. The kids loved seeing the Easter bunny. Especially Harper. She sleeps with a 'nunny', and when she saw the EB she squealed with delight. Then burst into tears because we had to wait to see him. Oh the drama... HA! We were running behind because of Huddy's game, so we made up for it and hid a few more eggs in the backyard for them to pick up. They had so much fun, and Harper really gave Hudson a run for his money. Today we decorated Easter eggs. Matt and I were thinking we were going to buy up these Easter Egg kits once they go on clearance. Talk about cheap entertainment with the kids! They really enjoyed putting stickers on the eggs, and dying them. To me that would be a good rainy day item to pull out of the goody bag. Who says you can't decorate eggs year round?? Right now the kids are napping, Matt is busy working outside, and I am getting my weekly blog in! We are looking forward to our Easter weekend ahead!!! Enjoy your week!

This was before MDO on Friday. I thought she looked like a burst of Spring time!!

Visiting the Easter Bunny!
Harper was a little star struck due to her love for 'nunnies'!

Walking home.

I'll race ya!!

Being oh so cooperative for picture time. Hopefully this was the trial run and Easter weekend will be better. HA!

This one speaks for it's self.

Sweet Harper with her nunny.

My Hud

EASTER EGG FUN! (I love that little tongue sticking out when he's all focused).

So serious.

Busy, busy!!

The finished product!

  2. I love the pictures, too...and they were so very focused!! I think that is a great idea to buy up more kits when they go on sale. They might want to eat more eggs if they are colored...ha!

What a thrill it is to open your blog and see new pictures. It makes my day for sure. Could they be any cuter??? I know that they are excited for the Easter Bunny to visit them. Tell them hi for us and give them both a big kiss.

    Love ya'll,

    J
