The Thomas' Visit

Before I begin, I just want to thank you all so much for you kindness, compassion, love, and prayers from my last blog entry. I was so encouraged by the out pour of your kindness. To those of you who were friends that left comments, thank you. For those of you who I do not know and left a comment, thank you. For those of you who left anonymous comments, thank you. And those of you readers who prayed and did not comment, thank you. I have no information to offer you as a follow-up. All I can say is while things are still uncertain, please continue to offer your prayers on behalf of this family. Thank you!!
This past weekend our friends from Fort Worth came to visit us. Adam, Leslie, and their little girl Haven. Haven and Harper are just a few weeks apart, so it was fun to see all the kids together. Hudson was so sweet with both girls over the weekend.
Friday we spent the evening letting the kids play, play, play. They had fun being outside and playing at the park. The weather last weekend was PERFECT. It was so beautiful each day. We could not have asked for a better weekend.
Saturday we went down town to the Riverwalk. We paid our respect at the Alamo and took our usual Alamo pictures. We had a great lunch at Cafe Rio on the Riverwalk and finished RIGHT in the nick of time because a BIG storm hit as we were getting ready to leave. We made it home and the kids took great naps while it was dark and stormy. We vegged out and watched a movie. We took them to church with us that evening and made them sit front row with us. You think I am joking.....Matt and I are those weird people who like to sit front row in church. We LOVE it, and love being right smack dab in the middle of it all. They were troopers and enjoyed church with us. We went to one of our favorite places for dinner afterwards.
Sunday was a SEA WORLD DAY. It was hands down the best Sea World experience we have ever had. It was such a beautiful day and it was not crowded. The high was 80, so we enjoyed every minute of being outside. We stayed from 10-4 which is the longest Sea World day we have ever put in. The kids were all so good and were having so much fun. We saw shows, and let the kids run around the water park. It was a wonderful ending to a wonderful weekend. We are excited because they bought season passes, so we know they'll be back for more fun!

Huddy with the girls.

One day I'll get a good picture of the 2 at the Alamo.

All ready to feed the dolphins.

Just checkin' in to say hi!

The matchy matchy girls.

Daddy with his 2 babies.

Trying for a picture of the 3 kids.

All ready to go in and get wet!

My BRAVE boy....that water was chilly!

Striking a pose. :)

The walrus show. (it's one of our favorites).

Haven was so cute and LOVED all the shows.

Watching our 'must see' Pirate movie. It's Hudson's favorite and we have to watch it every.single.time.

The group...minus Matt. Hudson is such a goof!

Brave guy!

Haven walking around with Daddy.

This is where Leslie and I hung out while the daddy's chased around the kids. It was fun! Hudson and Harper thought they would steal our seats while we were packing up.

Time to go. 3 hours past nap time......It was a fun day.

Haven did not want to leave us. She wanted to stay in San Antonio forever......ok not really. She was sad to leave Sea World. BIIG tears as we were packing up to leave. Sweet girl!!
