Matt has been traveling more than usual lately, & with me on moderate bed rest -it just hasn't been the best situation. I still almost laugh when they tell me to 'take it easy' when I have 2 very busy kids. I'm doing the best I can. We are making it tho...one week at a time.
Matt was in San Francisco for 3 days last week, so it was really nice having the company and help while he was away. {He has 2 more SF trips coming up all within a months time, & we had to cancel my going with him due to my current bp situation. BOO!}
Last week we really did not do a whole lot. One day we did get out and take the kids to get their pictures taken at a nearby pumpkin patch. There were several pictures that I love. I am so excited for our sweet little Holt-man to be in our pictures. The excitement is almost unbearable for all of us.
In other news while I have been spending so much time in bed I have not been on my computer to blog. My sweet man bought me a Macbook last week for an early 30th birthday present. He is too good to me. Needless to say I have been trying to figure out this whole Mac thing. It has realllllly been frustrating because I want to know how to do it all-TODAY- and not have to go thru a learning curve. I'm slowly but surley getting there. I do love it tho.
One BIG thing I want to accomplish while hanging out in bed is to start the process on making my blog into a book. I'm at my 5 year anniversary this month and feel it's really time to do it. I haven't figured out how to work Blurb (any advice?), but I'm trying. It's almost too overwhelming when you have blogged this long & then to go back and edit entries from 5 years ago. I am loving it though, reading about my baby boy Hudson. It feels like yesterday.

Matt's mom is coming soon and we are going to tackle Holton's nursery. She is going to paint both of the boys rooms. Hudson is so excited. I am excited to have all 3 kiddos rooms complete. I think they will be adorable. Pictures to come once it's all complete!!

Beautiful Pumpkin Patch pictures of 3 beautiful kids. You can tell they are so proud of their cute, lovable cousin Camden. It seems like yesterday when we were propping Hud & Harper up against pumpkins. They will make the BEST big brother & big sister to Holton...he is one loved baby boy already! I can't wait to come do some more painting. Meanwhile, keep your feet up as much as you can.
ReplyDeleteI love you,
Karen
GREAT PICTURES!! I love it...and with Camden in the mix, it's like a mini-preview of what it will look like when Holton is here! :) Cute kiddos, girly!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear you are doing good & taking it easy. I had bp problems with both girls. Bed rest for last 10 weeks with K and meds and weekly visits with L. I was on my left side alot and in bed aLOT, but it all worth it! I know you know that though. Hang in there and take care of yourself. I will be praying for you & baby!
How fun & precious. That is so fun to have your sister & nephew here, I can't wait for my sis to have kids. I pray for you & Holt...I hope you keep doing what you are doing & he stays PUT! I will keep praying. Also--I can help you when I comes to MAC Book & creating your blog into a book. I just did it...for 2008, 2007, 2006. Email me & I can help...just do one year at a time & edit like that. Can't wait to see pics of Holt!
