Holton at 3 months!

Sweet lover boy is 3 MONTHS OLD today!!  I just can't get over that!!  This was a BIG month for little Holt.  He went to Tyler, Fort Worth, and then this weekend we will go back to Tyler for Matt's sister Melissa's wedding!  This little guy is a MASTER champion in the car.  Not even kidding, he is amazing while traveling.  Thank you Lord!

It's sweet moments like these that can make me stop in my tracks and just be in awe that these 3 are mine.  It's a take your breath away kind of moment.

He looks like my brother to me here from when he was a baby.

I LOVE our Tues/Thurs mornings together.  Hudson and Harper are always so happy when Holton "finally" wakes up.  (yes, he sleeps the latest of my 3).  They just love on him and talk to him.  Holton wakes up each morning so happy and full of smiles.  It's such a sweet time.
Matt had a conference in Fort Worth last week, so the kids and I went along with him.  It was wonderful being back in FW.  There are some of my sweetest memories in that town.  I can easily go back to 'my only child' days and think about my little 1 year old boy that I toted around as my little side kick.  I thought fondly of our weekly trips to the FW Zoo (still my favorite zoo) & how Hudson and I would always ride the carousel and the train.  I could go on and on-- great times~

Hudson and Harper went to OK to spend a few days with Mini and Papa while Holton and I stayed downtown FW with Matt.  We had the BEST time.  We had Mi Cocina 3 times (heaven), sushi, & two nights we went up to the roof at Reata & definitely enjoyed ourselves--baby in tow.  We loved every minute of having Holton to ourselves.  We doted on him like he was our only child with our undivided attention.  It was wonderful.  However, after a day or 2 of this we missed the noise and activity that comes with our other 2.  It was great to get them back.  As fun as it is for the one on one time, it just doesn't feel 'right' until we are all back together.

While we were in Fort Worth, Holton decided it was time to bless his mama with some sleep.  He began sleeping through the night and hasn't looked back.  He is doing FANTASTIC, and I am thrilled.  He sleeps a good 8-9 hours each night and after a quick feeding he goes back to sleep for a good 3-4 more hours.  It's GLORIOUS!  Don't even ask me about moving him up stairs to his room.  It's a BIG joke between Matt and I because Matt thinks he'll still be in our room when he's 20.  There is some serious attachment issues between Holton and I.  Something about my 'baby boy' that has me holding on tight.

While we were in FW we had the kids pictures taken with our favorite photographer, Kristin Morales, we cannot wait to see all the pictures she captured!  After the sneak peek above, the anticipation is killing me!

Our sweet boy is just growing by the day and we are loving every minute of him.  He is our precious little chunk of love.  I can't even get over his squishy-ness.  I can't kiss those rolls enough.  At his 2 month apt he weighed in at 15.14--(98%), and was 24 1/4" long--(81%).  Needless to say we have us a healthy boy on our hands!  :)  We are thankful!!

  3. Ok random comment..I know. But a friend of mine's sis-in-law and fam is moving to SA next month. They know no one but are needing to look for a house, neighborhood, school, church etc. and I said hey, I know a girl in SA! If you have a spare second (Ha Iknow!) could you email me a good area to start looking for houses, a good church, etc. as a starting point for them? You are awesome and I totally trust your judgement. Thanks girl!
