Disney World--Part 6

Our last day was spent hitting all of our hot spots that we wanted to ride 'just one final time.'  By this time we really had done it all.  Friday morning at Magic Kingdom was surprisingly empty.  We walked on to most rides with very little wait.  We hit all of our favorites and grabbed our final souvenir picks.

Peter Pan's Flight

Sleepy boy in line for Peter Pan.

The Jungle Cruise with Harper.  (Matt took Hudson to Space Mtn for his final ride).

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin

We saw a few more of our Disney friends along the way too.

Angelica from the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
After Magic Kingdom we headed to Hollywood Studios for lunch at The Hollywood Brown Derby.  It was sooo good.  We also rode a few last rides and then headed to our room for a couple of hours.  We then were off back to Magic Kingdom to see the electrical parade at 9.  That was before this blew in....
Yes, a massive storm blew right in.  It was the only rain of the week.  Not bad!  We took shelter in the bakery on main street and waited it out at a table.  It wasn't bad.  A definite memory.  Needless to say the parade was canceled and we headed back home.
Harper's take on the storm!
Before the storm hit I was able to capture this picture (and the one at the top)...

Once we got on the bus to head back Harper was OUT yet again.

Matt stood and carried her on the bus all of the way home.  He had a heavy PINK backpack on his back and a 30 lb baby girl in his arms.  He's one sweet daddy and boy do I love him!
Heading home.....we were ALL worn out.  Both Holton and Harper slept all the way home.
Our flight home was easy, breezy.  No hiccups at all.  We were all glad to get home...at least the adults were.  Hudson and Harper haven't quit talking for one second about our Disney vacation.  It really was so wonderful and full of so many memories.  It's quite an exhausting trip.  We were on the go and did it all.  I already cannot wait to go again when little brother is big enough to enjoy it!!  Hudson summed it up when we got in the car to head home from the airport.  He said, "this was the BEST family vacation EVER!"  We all agree!

  1. What sweet memories...oh, I just can't wait to go (probably next summer instead, when at least 3 out of 4 of our kids can enjoy it!). Precious pictures. The one of Holton with the Mickey ears on cracked me up! He is TOO CUTE!!! And you really ought to feed the boy more; I think the poor guy might be neglected! ;) ADORABLE!!!

  2. Loved reading ALL about your trip to Disney! We went last time when Scott was 5 months old and I had so many memories looking at your pictures and seeing Holton sleeping a lot sucking his thumb. Fun times! Glad you had a great trip!

I love the last day pictures and wrapped up memories. Holton's first set of Mickey Ears are so cute on him! Harper...got to laugh at her just being "her". Hudson was just so excited all the time. They were all so good. We have the "cutest and bestest" grandkids! We loved making fun memories and can't wait to do it again when Holton gets older.
