Holton at 11 months

Sweet lover boy is 11 months OLD today-- WHAT ON EARTH?!?!?!  Cannot believe it.  11 months old.  1 month from a whole year old.  WOW.  A year ago I was in the hospital being monitored for early contractions, a new spike in my blood pressure, and I can vividly remember my doctor telling me "please try and make it past Christmas."  That was my goal.  Once we made it past Christmas she then said, "let's try to make it past the first of the year."  Then she would say, "ok, let's go one more week."  Small goals people...and it worked....and now look at him.  He was worth all the bed rest, and I would do it all again in a heartbeat for this precious soul.  I just cannot believe it was a YEAR ago that we were in the thick of it all.  How time flies.

Holton's personality shines through more and more everyday.  He is SO funny.  He is such a ham, and we adore laughing at him.  His faces/expressions are so silly.  We are constantly cracking up at him.  I just love that at 11 months old he knows how to play with us.  He can get so tickled.  He is JUST like Hudson where when he gets laughing, he instantly gets the hiccups....Hudson to this day still does.  It's so funny.  Holton is working on his 9th tooth.  They are just popping in one right after the other like crazy.  He's got a mouthful that's for sure.

We are so excited to experience Holton's many firsts over Christmas.  We plan on seeing all of our family over the next week or so and being home together with just our family of 5 on Christmas morning.  These are the memories I know we'll treasure most one day.  The kids so young, innocent, and are capturing to me what Christmas and family is all about.  I just want to stop and take them in everyday and remember them right now at this very moment in our lives.  How precious these days are.
