Spring Break FUN!

My baby girl lost 2 teeth last week.  Can you believe that??  Tooth #1 is on the left and tooth #2 is on the right.  All within days of each other.  A little over 4 and 1/2 and she has lost 2 teeth!  Not only did she lose them but her 2 permanent teeth are well on their way in.  My goodness how fast my babies are growing up.  Evidently I started loosing teeth when I was 4 too.  Seems too little doesn't it??

Harper with her tooth pillow all ready to see what the Tooth Fairy will bring her.

This week has been Spring Break for us.  We had friends from Lubbock come stay with us a few days.  They hit up all of the Spring Break San Antonio Hot Spots and had a blast.  It was great having them here.

We had a last minute change of plans with our big kids.  Karen, Matt's mom, was headed to Memphis to visit her brother's family.  We see them usually once or twice a year.  The kids always have a great time with their cousins over Thanksgiving.  Since some of our other Spring Break company fell through we decided it would be ok to send Hudson and Harper off to Memphis with Mini.  They had a blast.  They have been gone since Saturday and Matt and I will get them back tomorrow.  We are ready to get those 2 back.  I miss them so much.  I'm so glad they were able to go and have some fun.  I haven't felt the best this week so knowing they were off having fun makes me happy.  Matt has taken some of the week off to spend with Holton and I which has been wonderful.  How fun to just have 1 child for a few days.  Holton has been so fun and the star of the show.  What a little luv bug he is.  Holt has definitely missed Hudson and Harper.  I think he feels like his little life is missing some action.  :)

While Hudson and Harper have been gone Matt and I have done some Spring cleaning upstairs.....and my goodness does it feel good.  We cleaned out our playroom.  I'm talking CLEANED IT OUT.  We got rid of so much stuff.  They'll never know what is missing.  I reorganized the playroom closet and and every toy has a specific spot.  The clutter up there has been driving me crazy.  I also tackled the kids closets/drawers.  I have put up clothes that no longer fit and are not in season anymore.  Again---best feeling ever!  I still need to do our closet downstairs, but the fact that our upstairs is so clean---ahhh sweet relief.  We have also gotten Ace groomed all pretty, our house exterminated, and spent a few meals on a good patio enjoying each others company.  Strange how only having one child as a tag along can still feel like a date.  :)  Matt and I have even had a few dates at home.  Getting Holty to bed early, cooking dinner, and watching a movie---well, Matt watches the movie while I pass out in 10 seconds.  I really am the WORLDS WORST movie date pregnant.  I can't stay awake for the life of me.  It's ridiculous.  HOWEVER---we do have Hunger Games tickets for next Sat night, and I WILL stay awake for that movie.  No doubt about it!!
Our only child for the week.

The kids have had a big time in Memphis.  They went to the Memphis Zoo, Children's Museum, Chuck E Cheese, Graceland, Trolley tour of downtown Memphis, saw where MLK was shot (this was a MUST see for our history lovin' Huddy Bud), and PLAYED hard with their cousins.  (aren't you exhausted just reading all of that)??  They had a big time.  I'm thankful we'll have the weekend with the kids to detox and get back into the swing of things before school starts back on Monday.  Here are a few pictures that Karen text me throughout the week.

I took this picture when we were on our way to drop the kids off with Mini last Sat.  They were so excited.

Saturday night at dinner with Mini.

Look at those sleepy eyes---This is Harper and Kyleigh on the Trolley.

Huddy on the Trolley.

GRACELAND!!  Hudson and Micah.  This was something Hudson really wanted to do.  He wanted to see Elvis' house.

All the cousins at the zoo.  Micah, Reese, Hud, Harper, Kori, Jackson, and Kyleigh.  (Missing: Lilly and Holton).

Mini with the kids and Elvis.  Look how tall my boy is getting.  He's going to pass up Mini in no time.

It's been a great week.  I'm thankful the kids had a fun Spring Break, and I am thankful for the rest and quality time with Matt and Holton.  I just can't imagine life this time next year.  Spring Break 2013 with a 7 1/2 year old, 5 1/2 year old, 2 year old, and 6 month old.  What on earth will that look like???  I can't even picture it.  Will we be brave enough to go somewhere with all 4??  Will I be as tired then as I am right now??  HA!  Wow....I had better buckle up because I know I'll blink and we'll be the Mullins party of 6.

Thank you for sharing Huddy & Harp with me and the Cupps/Stark family. They were wonderful travelers, spending a total of 26 hours in the car over a week. I'm the one with a "hitch in my gitch" after sitting so much! I'm glad you, Matt, and Holty got some time together too. Next year, will be even more fun...we can't wait for #4 to come! The more the merrier...isn't that how it goes? Ha!
I love each one of you so much, mini

  4. Yes, time will fly and you'll be the Mullins Party of 6. I am already anxious for you to change your blog up. ;) LOL!

And I can't believe Harper has lost two teeth!!! That does seem SO early!! Wow!

Anyhow, your kiddos are just so precious. Jake and Hudson really remind me of each other sometimes. I just know that one of these days when we REALLY can get together, the kids will have a blast together. :)

By the way, I never told you, but we (well, that'd be I, ha!) named JK's doll Harper! She talks about Baby Harper all the time now, it's so sweet! :) Thanks for helping inspire a babydoll name. I hope you are honored. ;)
