"Dangerfield" Boys....aren't they so cute?? Huddy is the 4th from the left. |
Hudson just came off the BEST week ever. He went to day camp at
T Bar M. Hudson had so much fun. In fact I've never seen him love anything so much. He already is talking about next summer and wants to be signed up asap. He went with a few friends from our life group and church which made it that much more fun for him. His group was full of great boys and his coach was a guy named Alec who is headed to ACU in the fall....he was adorable and the ACU connection scored BIG points with mama. :)

Day 1--Drop off with Thomas |

Super Hero Day! |
 |
Sweet boys from church. Hud, Thomas, Jackson, and Linclon |
Each day had a different theme: Camo, Super Hero, Alphas vs Omegas...it was great fun. The kids play sports, do team building activities, swim and jump on the BLOB---a definite favorite of Huds. I'm taking this next part off their website, but this was my favorite part about the camp---
"Although we are all about fun activities, the heartbeat of camp is in
our Bible study time. We take great care in making sure that every
camper
sees the Bible is alive, relevant and exciting! Our coaches reinforce
this by modeling Christ-likeness throughout the day with your child.
It's
the foundation to all relationships built at camp."
On Friday the parents were invited early for the end of the week closing ceremonies. We got to watch a video of the week and catch a glimpse into what they did each day. It was wonderful. I was so proud and thankful Huddy got to experience such a fun week full of awesome activities but most importantly a week with Bible study with great Christian coaches.
The best part of that day was when the coach shared with the group what he saw in your child that week. Coach Alec said Hudson had a very pleasing attitude always going with the flow, and that he was a great kid to be around. I was so proud of my Huddy bud!

While our boys were off at camp all week, the girls had a fun week of their own. Harper and Bethany played almost everyday. One day they went to the zoo and swimming, another day they went to the Children's museum in New Braunfels (which Harper LOVED and wants to go back to), and another day they played at our house jumping on the trampoline and enjoyed a house big brother free. They were pretty spoiled that week---and I am sure they loved every minute of it.
After the closing ceremonies we went to Gruene and had dinner at the Gristmill with the Pittard 5. It was delish and we enjoyed being out with our friends. The kids had a blast---great ending to a great week!
