9, 10, 11 MONTHS!!

 WOW--It is AUGUST, I have an 11 month old baby boy, and school starts 2 weeks from Monday.  This summer has flown by the fastest of any summer I can remember.  In my mind it should be late June, not mid August.

Our baby boy is growing up right before our eyes.  Just the other day Hudson said he wished Hayes would stay this little forever...that he doesn't want him to walk or run, just crawl and be little always.  Then there is Harper, our sweet little dramatic-over the top girl, will come and kiss him 85 times while I am rocking him before bed and tell him that he is the cutest baby she has ever seen on this PLANET and she loves him so much she wants to squeeze him so so tight (imagine this conversation while her hands are in fists down by her side and her eyes closed and head back).  Yes, we are obsessed with this little guy and not for a minute is he short on love.

So while this ol blog took a backseat over the last few months, I still have taken the sweet boy's picture every month for facebook and Instagram---and for my personal record.

Tell me if those eyes don't connect somewhere deep inside of you??  His eyes---are so gorgeous.  I love that face of his.

"Is he always happy?"  Yes, he really is.  Pure joy that boy.

I love baby feet, but I especially love his baby feet. 

Hayes' little personality is so funny, so sweet, so so cute.  He truly is one of the most precious babies.  He is so happy and so go with the flow.  He is a busy guy who can get into anything and everything in .025 seconds.  It really is amazing how fast he is and how in the time it takes you to turn your head to do something, he will be in a completely different spot.  He is our little mighty man and we love him!

The big things over the last few months about our guy would have to be that he has gone from 2 teeth to 8.  Now has his OWN room---was promoted from our closet to his nursery & made the transition just fine.  He loves to eat and feed himself.  Still is the best little car traveler of our bunch, had his first haircut, goes to bed between 8-9 and sleeps until 5-7 (then takes a bottle and sleeps between 8-9).  He takes a little catnap of a morning nap and an afternoon nap with Holton.  That's been my biggest goal---getting the little boys on the same afternoon nap.  He loves that morning nap, but I don't ever let it go longer than an hour, sometimes less, just because that afternoon nap is key to my daily survival.  :)

Rat tail no more---sweet thing had his first haircut yesterday.

This boy is still a little dream of a baby.  He is as sweet as he is beautiful.  He loves his family and is ADORED by all of us.  We really are so crazy about our little bonus guy and cannot imagine this crazy life without him.  This past week I ordered his little birthday boy shirt and his monthly pic banner.  I can't believe we will have us a 1 year old so soon.  What a blessing Hayes Pierce is to our family.  Those big blue eyes can melt my mama heart in an instant.  We are so thankful everyday for his precious life.
