A Wonderful Thanksgiving Break!

We made it home Saturday after a long stay with Matts family. We spend Thanksgiving with his family and Christmas with mine since his extended family from Tennessee come every year for Thanksgiving. It was their first time to meet Hudson, so that was great. We spent Wednesday-Saturday there, but it was nice to get home and get back into our normal routine. My birthday was Friday. I turned 25 on the 25th. That only happens once! It always stinks because we are celebrating (with TONS of family) Thanksgiving when my birthday comes, so we tend to celebrate it early or late. And I don't know why but I still LOVE my birthday and I start counting down to it in August. Matt made it really special though. He posted signs throughout the house leading me to my gift. There were 2 doz. Long stem roses waiting for me and a sign that says he owes me a trip to Nordstrom to pick out any purse. I love purses, so this is really exciting to get a nice one (instead of my typical Sam Moon purses). And Nordstrom is my favorite department store by far. :) My mom and sister are coming this weekend to keep Hudson for us while we go on my bday date (this will be our second date alone since Hudson has been born) and BUY MY PURSE! I am really excited. Also one really cool gift he gave me (or gave himself) was he bought us Coldplay tickets for February. I am really pumped about that because we LOVE Coldplay. Any volunteers to babysit???

So here are a few pictures that were taken from our trip to Wichita Falls. These are just a few of my favorites. I love the one with his Papa outside by the fire. Papa can't wait to take his boy camping. He already has Hudsons fishing pole ready. Then I think the picture of him right out of the tub is adorable. And of course our family picture is one I'll treasure always....our first family Thanksgiving.
