I now have an appreciation to my mother for all those years of her trying to get the "perfect picture" of my brother, sister, and I for our yearly Christmas card. As much as we hated taking the Christmas card picture, I now understand her purpose. We have picture after picture of Hudson trying to get the "perfect Christmas card" shot. And yes, I finally have it. No, the picture shown is not it (because I have to keep it a secret), but it sure is a close second. The stress of getting Hudson all ready in his cute little outfit....holding him while he is laughing and having a great time. Then we rush to start taking his picture while he is in a happy mood...and right when we start taking his picture he starts crying, or wants to be held, or poops, or spits up, or gets hungry...the list goes on and on. We took several pictures at Matt's parents house during Thanksgiving in front of the tree, and they turned out cute... but it wasn't the picture I wanted. It is my first Christmas card to ever send out of my child, so it has to be
it. Like I said, I now understand my mother and her dedication to our perfect Christmas card. For those of you who receive it, you will see why my persistence paid off!
