This and That....

Again, not much going on around here. Matt leaves in the morning for Colorado Springs, Co. He'll be back Friday evening. We got online to check the weather so he could know what to take. Guess what the high is tomorrow??? 54 degrees!!! I cannot even imagine what that will feel like. Lucky dog!

Once he gets home we are headed to Tyler for Labor Day weekend. We have not traveled back home since Harper arrived, so it will be a nice visit! We are looking forward to it.

Tonight we went to the park and went for a walk. It was good to get out for a little while. It has just been WAY too hot to take Harper on a walk. So this was her first "real" walk (besides our street). I love our stroller too. I did some serious research about double strollers before I decided on this one. It's a Joovy sit and stand stroller. We bought it back in Feb, and this was our first time to use it. I LOVE it already. It is great if you have a toddler who likes to sit then stand, sit then stand...ect. He is not one that I can strap into a stroller anymore. I highly recommend it if anyone is out there looking for a double stroller.

We had a good time, and Hudson had fun at the park. He made a friend with a "little boy" (who was older than he was) named Cason. Hudson called him "little boy". I think I have a macho man on my hands. HA! He is just so funny! I seriously have the best job in the world when it comes to being with my 2 babies. Hudson makes me smile the moment I walk into his room to get him in the morning. Yes, he can be too much to handle at times, but his little personality is the cutest I have ever seen. I tell people that if he was not mine and I saw him out somewhere that I would want a little boy just like him! And every week with Harper just gets a little bit easier. She slept 9 hours this week, so I cannot complain at all in the sleeping department. The only problem is is that she is READY to go to sleep at 8. It is such a struggle to get her to stay up later than that. So her 9 hours is her waking up at 5. But she eats and is in back in bed within 20 minutes, so it really isn't all that bad. She has been such a wonderful baby, and a perfect addition to our family.

I can't get over all these babies that are coming or have come recently. Leslie, Cassy, Mindi, Crystal, Kristen with TWINS!!! It is just baby central!! I love it!!!

Harper napping in her swing. I wish they would make those swings in grown up sizes. I could take a great nap too!

Sounds like you have been busy! My parents are actually in Colorado at the house now, its just outside of Colorado Springs in Woodland Park (16 miles). Maybe Matt will run into them!

  7. Thanks so much for sharing the stroller find with us. You may have just made a sell for the Joovy people.
No, we have not decided on a name yet. We have it narrowed down to a few, but it may be one of those we're in the hospital we need to pick one decisions. Or when we look at his face for the first time, we will know.
Glad all is going well with the new baby. She looks so happy and content in her swing. I agree with you about the grown up swing. I would be in it every night. :)
