Once we got seated the anticipation was killer. Luckily we did not have to wait too long for it to get started. Once the got on stage Hudson's face was a BLANK stare. It was like he could not believe his eyes. I actually teared up (I know, it's silly) because I was so excited for him. About half way thru the concert we let him out into the aisle to dance around. He had a BLAST. We got a few short "snip its" of video of him dancing. One video Matt turned the camera wrong, but I put it on anyway. It's cute. Harper did unbelievably great. She slept the car ride there, thru the concert, and the car ride home. That's unheard of. We like to think that she did not want to take away from her big brother's fun day, so she decided to sleep. HA! :)
It really was such a fun experience seeing him so excited. I am so glad we went, and already can't wait until next year!!!
Here are a few pictures/video we took from the concert. Also at the bottom there are a few pics of Harper. She is starting to smile at us so much. It just melts my heart every time. Also we had a BIG achievement this past week. Harper slept 8 and 1/2 hours STRAIGHT. It was a proud moment for us all. However it has only happened one time, so we are hoping she might want to make it a habit! It's usually about 7 hours. But YAY for Harper!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad that Hudson had fun at the Wiggles concert! Jackson had fun today, too. He was just mesmerized. He didn't dance like Hudson did (partially because we didn't have aisle seats, and I was afraid he would take off if we let him out and partially because he was just in awe). Boone and I loved the Wiggles Concert, too! We were amazed at how fast it seemed to fly by, and we have already decided that if Jackson likes the Wiggles next year, we are definitely going back!
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe Harper slept through everything! Amazing! She is getting so big! I love her outfit in the last picture. You have two cuties! Again, so glad you guys liked it! My only gripe was that I really wanted to hear "Lights, Camera, Action." We all like that song around here!

ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, I was really impressed with Sam! We had some friends who refused to take their child to the Wiggles concert because it wasn't Greg (stupid, I know), and I think they really missed out. Actually, I think Sam may have a better voice than Greg, even though I did love Greg! I love the song "Bow Wow!" I also like the "D-O-R-O-T-H-Y" song. I SO wanted to hear that one because Jackson is in love with Dorothy. Did Hudson get any fun souvenirs? Jackson might have come away with a few items. : )
ReplyDeletePeople probably think we are so lame having a blog comment conversation about the Wiggles. I am not ashamed, though! I proudly admit my own little obsession with the Wiggles. In fact, when the Wiggles are playing in the car and Jackson is with me, I don't change the CD because I like them too!
