Monday night was Hudson's Thanksgiving program at school. It was soo cute. Hudson did not participate in the least. He just stood there and would turn around and look at all the other kids. He spotted us and would make this goofy face like he was trying his best not to smile at us. It was sweet and cute and I was so proud to see him up there.
Thursday I got out with the kids to go to Target. We went for no reason other than to get out of the house for a while. We were walking around and we passed by the kids shoes. Hudson saw the rainboots. (HE LOVES BOOTS). So he looked at them and we walked off. A few minutes later he looked up at me with those cute puppy dog eyes and said, "Mommy, those fireman boots are wonnnnderful." So I turned around and bought them. Im a sucker aren't I? He's just so darn cute!!!! He has not taken them off ONCE since we bought them. You'll see in the pictures below!
Yesterday Matt took off for the day. We went to visit my grandmother in Sulpher Springs. It was so fun going to see her. Sadly I have been to see her new house since she moved there in April. It was great seeing her and her house was just beautiful. She fixed Matt a FEAST. My family LOVES cooking for Matt. And Matt loves my fam's good ol' southern cooking. You would have thought Matt died and went to Heaven. It was great. The kids were perfect too. It was a wonderful day. We got to see my cousin Jennifer and her little girl Zoe. Hudson and Zoe were so sweet together. Harper and Zoe are just 10 months apart, so I know later on they will be so cute playing together. Matt helped Suepa around the house hanging stuff. When Suepa moved she took a piece of "wall" down in her old house. In my grandfathers closet, growing up, he always wrote his grandchildren's height on the wall. Suepa said she could not leave it behind. So Matt hung it up for her in the laundry room. Hud was the first great-grandchild to get on the wall. I love that she has that now in her house.
Today we are busy getting all of our Christmas things down from the attic and we are going to start putting them up in the house. I CANT wait! My dad and step-mom are coming for the weekend to see the kids and take me out for my bday. (A week from tomorrow).... :) We are looking forward to their visit. Then next week we are going to see all of Matt's fam for Thanksgiving. It'll be fun!
Here are pictures from the past week. We have had so much fun seeing everyone!!
Here is Harper fighting back those tears. Look at that lip! I can't get enough of those sweet pictures of her in her swing. I love how delicate her fingers look here.
