My guy...

I haven't written JUST about my sweet boy in a while. Let me say, if it is possible, that Hudson gets cuter and funnier by the day. He is just a burst of bright light in my life. He is constantly making Matt and I laugh at the silly things he comes up with. He is so smart and does not forget ANYTHING (which can be scary at times). He remembers who gave him what and when. He'll be playing with a toy that someone gave him long ago and say "thank you so and so for my truck." His imagination is EXPLODING. He sees different animals in the food he eats (like we do to with the clouds), he pretends that when jumps off of something in the playroom that he is landing in water and he has to swim to the boat, he plays starbucks with me (you know how when you order a drink at starbucks they double cup your drink? Well, I give him the 2nd cup to play with), and watching him talk to his action figure guys is just hysterical. He makes up all kinds of funny things and I often wonder where on earth he thought of that. He is just so clever! I love pretending with him.

I lucked out when it came to little boys. I often think if I could just freeze time I would right now. I love the little boy he is becoming, but I love that he is still my baby boy who likes to sit in my lap and read, watch The Wiggles, or just to get some mommy love. I love that my kiss can heal all boo boo's and stinky things. Yes I said stinky things. When something is on him that stinks like Harper's spit up or Ace slobber (and there has been yuckier things too) he runs to me and puts the stinky mess in my face to kiss it and make it go away. Who knew a kiss could do that?? He is such a joy! Hudson is the sweetest 2 and 1/2 year old I know and I thank God everyday that he is my precious little boy!
