Just another day at our Mullins' hotel!

I can't wait until the end of the summer to share ALL the company we have had here. Our summer has been NON STOP. We have had more guests during these last few months than we ever had in our entire 5 years of marriage. We have had a blast, and we are so thankful that people are willing to drive all this way to come see us.....or come visit San Antonio??? Either way it has been fun. Let me just tell you how these last few weeks have gone down along with what's to come. Stick with me here you might get too tired to make it thru............

So my sister and grandmother left our house on Tuesday the 29th. That following Thursday one of my best friends from college and ACU camps came to visit us with her new fiance' Dusty. We had a great time with them...she asked me to be her Matron of Honor when they marry in May. How exciting! One night we were even able to go out just the 4 of us. We had lots of fun. So they left us on Saturday then Sunday we had our friends The Orsburns come visit us from Dallas. They spent Sunday night with us and we stayed up WAYYY past our bed time visiting. It was one of those times where the hours just felt like minutes. It was great seeing them and catching up. They left Monday then Tuesday of this week our wonderful friends the Vasquez family came and stayed with us Tuesday thru Friday (today). We had a BLAST. We went to Sea World with them on Wednesday. We actually went to a few shows that we have not been to while at Sea World. We went to the evening Walrus show and the evening Shamu show. They were AMAZING. My 2 new favorite shows. So our friends left us this morning. I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go to Austin and stay with my friend Cara. She just bought her first house and I cannot wait to see it! This will be Matt's first time ALONE with the kids for a night. It's about time, right??? HA! THEN on this following Tuesday my cousins, Jason and Shelley, are coming with their 3 kiddos and staying until Friday. We CANNOT wait for them to come. We have been waiting all summer to see them. Then once they leave on Friday, I'll have a few moments to get my house ready for our next guests arrival that same Friday evening. Matt's sisters and sister's boyfriend Tyson are coming Friday evening for the weekend. So we plan on going to Sea World again on Wednesday with The Wolfe Family then again on Saturday with Matt's fam......ARE YOU READERS EXHAUSTED WITH OUR LIFE YET because I am not even finished!!!!!??????????? We'll have about 4 days to recuperate after Lauren, Melissa, and Tyson leave and then that Friday Matt the kids and I are flying to Norman, OK. to stay a week with Matt's parents. (Well, really the kids and I will stay the week. Matt flies to Phoenix for work most of that week). After a week in Norman we'll leave from there and drive to Plano for a night. Then Labor day weekend we will be in Stephenville for a Mullins Family get together with all of Matt's extended family. We'll come home and then in 2 weeks later Matt and I will be headed off to Cabo for our honeymoon. (We decided any time we get a chance to get away just the 2 of us we are going to call it a honeymoon). Once we return our good friends The Thomas Fam will be coming to stay with us that following weekend. THEN IT'LL be October.

So there you have it.........................our life in a nutshell!!! I have never washed so many towels and sheets. I have never changed so many sheets on a bed, and made our guest bed up so many times....And to think we thought we would be so lonely moving so far away from family and friends! We have had a great summer and we are so thankful that we have a home where we are able to have so many guests come and stay with us. What a summer, right???? And this little recap is just the last week of July thru the end of Sept. Wait till you hear May thru July...................just as crazy!!!

So here are pictures from the last week or so. We have had so much fun. Now that we live in a place where we really know no one here, we are counting our blessings with all the wonderful friends and family we have that are far from us. You really have sustained us this summer. We are excited for the fall when we can finally get plugged in with our church home and get in a routine here.

I'm not sure if you all knew, but I am a SERIOUS cigar smoker. HA! No, we were at a restaurant that sells cigars and Matt enjoyed one while we sat on the patio.
