My 3 favorite pictures of the week!!

My 2 precious babies!!

The Mullins Family!
My little Mullins family of 4!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We left last Saturday morning at 5 AM for Norman, Ok. I was BEYOND nervous about making the 7hr drive with Hudson and Harper, but I have to say that going and coming home were the best road trips we have ever had with the kids. Leaving so early in the morning is amazing! Both ways we did not make our first stop until 10. So that was 5 straight hours of blissful peace. OK, a bit of an exaggeration, but really our time in the car could not have gone any better. We had plenty of movies, snacks, drinks, and napping. Matt and I both learned how to hold our bladders as LONG as possible so we would not have to stop and wake the kids.
We enjoyed Saturday-Tuesday with Curtis and Karen by ourselves. Matt and I would sit out on their porch in the rocking chairs, drink hot tea, and read our books while the kids were entertained by their grandparents. Ahhh pure relaxation!! My favorite spot for sure!!
Tuesday was my big BDAY! It was a great day. I got $$, flowers, clothes, a new Bible. Matt and I took Hudson to the dinosaur museum. He LOVES that museum and we had a fun time seeing everything there. That night Matt and I were able to go on a date. We went into Oklahoma City and ate Sushi and yummy dessert.
Wed and Thursday was spent with all of the extended family. We had a great time seeing everyone. April taught me how to knit too which was fun! We had TOO many calories...I'm still full. Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful as always. Karen really does an amazing job pulling it off every year. Feeding that many people always impresses me!! It was delicious!!
Friday morning we got up again and left by 5AM. We were home yesterday by noon. Now we are pulling out all of our Christmas decorations, making our house all Christmas cozy in this 70+ degree weather!!
Overall it was a better than great week away. It's always fun being with family and seeing my kids play with their cousins. Special memories!! Thank you Mini and Papa for a great week!!!
