I'm not sure why the holiday's bring out the sappy, sentimental person in me, but they just do. I feel like the days turn into weeks then months too fast around here. I'm sure you can all relate. I can't believe that the kids are almost 3 and 1/2 and 18 months old. Time is flying by too fast for me. I feel like each day the kids are learning something new, or saying something funny. Both are at such cute and sweet ages (I know I say that a lot, but it's true)!! Hudson is just my Mr. Imagination guy!! Yesterday he was a pirate, fireman, policeman, train conductor, Spiderman, and Buzz Lightyear. He LOVES his Bat Cave and all of the accessories that go along with it. The other night he had it all set up with each piece in it's perfect place (picture below). He loves to pretend with all of his super hero guys, and loves to dress up and play pretend. If he got any cuter, I just don't think I could handle it. :) I cannot wait for Christmas this year with him. He totally get's it and is BEYOND excited to see what Santa is going to bring him. One last little Hud story.....The other night after we put him to bed, Matt could hear him praying alone in his room. He was praying that God would help him not be scared. Well, I just thought that was too sweet so I had to go back in there just one more time. We have always told him that when he get's scared that he should pray, and that will make him feel better. For him to actually do it on his own was tooooooo precious to me! So I went in there and was talking to him and he asked me if God can hear him pray. I said of course he can and how much God loves it when he does pray. And then Hudson said, "yeah, he hears me and then he takes all the scareds away." Ohhhh that was one of those moments where I just wanted to squeeze him so tight and never let go. I hope God always takes the scareds away!

Here he is WIDE EYED in his Bat mask with his Bat cave all decked out. Click on the one below to see all the thought that went into it. So cute!! He's hoping for the FINAL piece for Christmas....the Bat Jet....we'll see if Santa brings it. (wink wink).

Now Miss Prissy Poo......Oh the drama that this nearly 18 month old can cause. She is such a stinker and knows how to aggravate her brother better than anyone...(and the other way around too). She is the kissin-est girl I know. I LOOOVE that about her. She loves to love on us and kiss, kiss, kiss. Let's hope she grows out of that later on tho! HA! I still love dressing her and putting that bow in her hair. She is so cuddly and loves to be held and read to. She is my girly girl....and I sure love it. She is our little sponge and is talking up a storm. She tries and tries and tries some more. Those little wheels are turning, turning. She is the sweetest little girl I know! I am going to be doing a 3 and 1/2 year and 18 month blog entry on them both in January....It's WAAAY over-do!!!
Thank you...I needed my "Hudson and Harper FIX". They are just so precious and so smart, too! We can't wait to spend New Year's with you guys (and Shamu for one last time, too!). Merry Christmas!
