Lately.............

The weekends seem to take so long to get here, and then in a blink they are over! We have had a lot of fun lately. Texas weather....it's a crazy thing! 90's last week, and then the 60's over the weekend. Unpredictable! It has been so nice getting to be outside more. The kids and I have walked to the park almost daily. They love playing in the big sand volleyball court. It makes us want to take them to the beach so bad. They would love it! We are hoping to do a family trip of some sorts this summer, but we haven't decided when or where yet.

Matt's parents and grandparents are coming today and staying until Thursday. We are looking forward to having them. Matt and I are going to see Ryan Adams in concert on Wednesday night and having a 'hot date' on the Riverwalk. We are really excited. Matt is a big fan of Ryan Adams....I guess you could say I am a fan by default. It'll be fun! The kids will be in good hands while we are away for the evening!

Hudson and Harper are starting school this week. There were 2 spots available at a mother's day out, so I enrolled them. Hudson will go Monday/Friday, and Harper is only on Friday's. Hud was so cute and so excited to go. I know he'll have a great time. I am looking forward to having Friday's to myself. This is a FIRST for me. I already have a hair apt made for Friday morning. I plan to enjoy my Friday's!!!

I went in to wake Harper up from her nap yesterday, and this is what I found. No wonder she wakes up with crazy hair everyday!
