- SHINE BRIGHT came about while brainstorming a new name for this old blog that I started back in 2005. Whenever I send my children off somewhere whether it is school, a play-date, church--anywhere, I tell them to shine bright/be a light/be shiny. It's my constant prayer that they are a light in this world as well as our family as a whole. I love this blog, and I do this for them. It is my love-letter to my 4 loves.

ReplyDeleteLoved the post about the birthday weekend. We are SO SO SO excited to be down there with you guys in a couple weeks. We have been telling Haven about Shamu and she is getting excited.
HA, HA! I just love that little guy! So cute and funny! When April said "four letters", I thought she was going to say "MATT" but "YMCA" fits, too...they both do! He is so precious and his future wife will enjoy seeing his childhood through "his eyes" one day.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely do remember you being so tired that you would sleep during the kids Specials time. I look back at that year and I don't know how you did it. You were pregnant pretty much the entire school year. What a year that was! I'm so glad we got that year together! ;-)
