A WONDERFUL Easter Weekend!

This was last year....how time flies!

We had a WONDERFUL Easter weekend. My grandmother and sister came in town on Friday. We enjoyed them so much. We had pedicures, enjoyed La Cantera shopping, tried out a new restaurant, plenty of Starbucks, Sushi Zushi, enjoyed an AMAZING Easter service, and had the best time with the kids on Easter. The Easter Bunny did not disappoint. He hooked up the kids with Mickey crocs since we are going to Disneyland at the end of the summer. They got sidewalk chalk, bubbles, a water toy, beach towels, coloring books, crayons......plenty of fun things for the Spring/Summer.

Easter morning the kids looked make-you-want-to-tear-up CUTE. I absolutely love little girls in smocked dresses. Nothing is sweeter or more precious to me. Harper was a doll, and Huddy....what a handsome little man he was. I loved seeing them in their Easter clothes. Church was fantastic, and coming home to an Easter roast and all the fixin's was soooo GOOD! After the kids naps they hunted eggs in the backyard, and then we spent the rest of the day outside. It was a beautiful day, and we pulled out our lawn chairs and sat in the driveway while the kids played. We live in a culdesac and several neighborhood kids came down and were playing a baseball game (with a soft-type ball) in the circle. My sister, who is this free spirit, fun loving person, joins the kids in their game batting for both teams. Hud thought it was so fun, and she would run the bases with him on her back. It was so cute. Harper ran around chasing the kids and gathering up balls. The kids had so much fun, and we did too. It was a wonderful Easter, and now we get to look forward to Matt's fam coming at the end of this week. Matt's bday is on Saturday, so we are planning on another great weekend with family.

And of course, a million pictures of our weekend fun!!

If you personally know Harper, you will understand why this picture just makes me smile. It captures her to a T.

Yummy spring time Popsicle fun.

My too-cool-for-school guy.

Opening up Easter presents from ALL the grandparents. They loved every gift!! Thank yall!!

Still opening!

A little Huddy and Nana fun.

Where's UNK when ya need him? Hud having fun on his guitar.

Easter Morning fun.

They loved all their Easter goodies!

In true Harper fashion.....grab nunny and a book and plop on the floor.

DVDS, books, crayons, and even Mickey Crocs. Looks like the Easter bunny knew we'd be having a few road trips this summer.

A few of my favorite "blooper" pics of the kids.

I wish you could have seen Matt trying to get the kids to smile at the camera. Afterwards he was totally sweaty. It was so funny.

Why I am so thankful for digital cameras. Oh he's such a goof!

But oh so cute too!

And of course I had to get a picture of the kids kissin!

I thought Harper looked so so sooo precious!

Out of 200 pictures this was the ONLY one of the 2 of them smiling together AND looking at the camera. But I love it and I am glad I got 1!
Harp managing to get the eggs.

Last night at the baseball game. Hud had so much fun playing with his Nana!

She loves those stuffed animals. Looks like Haven every morning with her cow, minnie mouse and reindeer she has to take all three of them everywhere she goes

That kissing picture is sooo precious! Love the kiddos Easter outfits... Harper looks like an angel in that white smocked dress!! This will be no surprise since our taste is so similar, but Natalie wore that Strawberry outfit last summer!!!
