We have been having so much fun lately and staying busy. Just in the last week alone we have been to Sea World 3 times. We love it and could go daily. I am to the point tho with the crowds that my only time to visit from now until school starts will be Monday-Wednesday. The crowds are getting out.of.control. We have been having weekly playdates with friends and trying to stay cool in this Texas heat by going to the pool as often as we can. I seriously have sunscreen-ing 2 kids down to an art. I am proud to say that they have never had a sun burn....(knocking on wood right now).
Saturday I am going with 4 of my girlfriends here to Fredericksburg for the day. I am SO EXCITED. These 4 girls are so special to me, and I am BEYOND thrilled to go and have a FULL day to myself hanging out with friends doing girly things. 2 of them are from FB therefore they know where to go and what to do. I have never been other than driving thru, so I know it'll be a fun day.
The Thomas family is checking into the Mullins 5 Star Resort (I can name it what I want to) on Friday. They are having a San Antonio weekend with Adam's family doing Sea World, Riverwalk, and other SA fun stuff. We'll see them in passing, but we are happy to have friends here.
I really have no pictures to share. After our 2 week vacation, I have not been in the mood to even pick up my camera. That will all change in July. Be ready for my trips down memory lane, and my sweet and sappy mommy/wife letters to my 3 favorite people in the world.
OH MY GOODNESS....How can I be the mommy to a 4 and 2 YEAR OLD??? (It just pops in my head like that randomly all the time). I really get teary eyed when I think about how big they are getting. I truly love every minute of their precious lives. What a gift..... Ok, enough of that I have to wait until July!!

I know how you feel. I can not believe that Reese will be 3 in just a few weeks. She totally acts 3 :)
ReplyDeleteIt just seems like yesterday we were getting ready to meet you and go to Tyler for your perfect wedding. You have always made me feel like more then a CIL you make me feel like a true cousin. I knew how great you were anyway....Matt told us all about you the 1st year he meet you and ya'll were just friends. He told us you were the one and he would marry you. You have one very terrific hubby as I have one terrific cousin.
I love that pic of the kids with their gorgeous tans. We here at the Stark Manor are still very white (except my driving arm) :)
We need to try and plan a week for us to go to AK's like we were going to do last year.

ReplyDeleteThis will seem really random, but I just wanted you to know what an encouragement it is to me when I read about and see how much you enjoy your kids and your life as a stay-at-home mama. I know it is not easy, but your positive attitude and the way you obviously have a blast with them are so refreshing. You make it seem so fun and so worth all the hard work, which is a huge blessing to me. It is wonderful to hear about the fun you have with your babies and the way you love them. Thanks for sharing!
