Part 1: Our Florida Vacation!

We were pulling out of our driveway headed for Pensacola at 5 am on Sunday, May 24th. The kids were excellent on the way there. It was a 12 hour drive from San Antonio. After a few stops we arrived in the early evening on Sunday. We were all so excited to finally be there and could not wait to see the beach. Hudson and Harper were so glad to finally be out of the car. We immediately unloaded and headed to the beach. I LOOOOVE Pensacola. I have written about this before, but I'll say it again....I grew up going there year after year. It holds some of my most treasured memories as a child. We always had the best time going with my grandparents, and were completely spoiled rotten while we were there. I still got the same butterfly feeling of excitement as we drove over the 2 bridges to get to the Gulf Breeze island. I LOVE the gorgeous beaches and the sugar fine white sand. We stayed in a beautiful condominium resort, and enjoyed every second of our vacation from start to finish. The weather was in the mid 80's each day which was perfect.

We were on the beach by 8 am every morning. The kids loved playing with their sand toys and Hudson loved the ocean. We spent our mornings down by the ocean, had lunch in the room, the kids napped while Mini stayed with them, we laid out while the kids napped, and spent the afternoon at the pool when the kids woke up. Each night we went out for a fantastic dinner and dessert......and then did the whole same-ol routine the next day. It was WONDERFUL! Curtis treated Melissa and I to an afternoon at the spa where we each got a massage. It was soooo nice!

It was the perfect family vacation for all of us. We are all ready to return right now! :) The pictures below (all 500 of them) are all out of order. But here are my favorites from the week!

A beach bum in training.

The kids buried Matt. It was so funny!

Having some fun together.

We played, played, and played some more!

My beautiful SILS!

Aren't' all the colors soo good in this picture? From their swimsuits to the sand to the water and sky...I love it!

YES....we had fabulous dessert every.single.night!

Hudson and Harper with Mini and Papa.

My hub and I.

She was too cute for words.

She wanted to dress like me, so Mel pulled out her yellow dress for the evening. :)

The girls on the pier.

I just LOVE this picture of Hud. Oh, how that boy has my heart.

The last day Harper was ZONKED out. She slept in my lap for an hour. I loved every minute of my snuggle time with her.

Harper getting used to the water.

A little brother and sister bonding on the patio with their ring pops.

More bonding....aren't they so sweet??

Our few attempts at a family picture.

I'm having this blown up. I LOVE it of her.

My loves....

The whole Mullins gang.

More beach time fun. Matt is such a big kid. I loved seeing him play with the kids.

Our last night out...

A good picture of the kids with mini and papa....Thank ya'll so much for such a wonderful and memorable vacation! We had the BEST time!
