Part 2: Tyler and 2 weddings

We left Pensacola Friday morning by 5:30. The drive back went just as smooth. It was only a 9 hour drive back to Tyler, so it was not near as long. We stopped a few times and were in town by the late afternoon. We got there in time to change back into our swimsuits and head to the lake. We were excited to go because my Dad and Shelley are building a lake house. We are SO pumped. It is going to be beautiful. We just have to get the kids used to wearing life-jackets because right now they are NOT fans. We had a great time out on the lake and enjoyed a picnic on the barge.

Saturday was my cousin Valerie's BIG wedding day. It was beautiful and so much fun. She was a beautiful bride and her new hubby Andrew was a handsome groom. It was fun because we had all of our kids together. They PLAYED and DANCED until they could no longer move. It was adorable, and I loved every minute of watching them interact.

Matt left Sunday morning to head back to SA. The kids and I spent the week in Tyler with my family. We vegged out pretty much the entire week. I got to hang out with my sister everyday which was a treat. She is getting so 'big'. She'll be 20 in Sept. which in itself is hard to believe. We took Hudson to see 2 movies. We saw 'UP' which was SO CUTE! We also saw the 2nd "Night at the Museum" movie. It was good too. Hudson seemed like such a big boy to me. He would sit so quietly and eat his popcorn and watch the movies. Each movie towards the end he would crawl up in my lap (which I loved), and we'd finish the movie together. It was really fun to get to take him all by himself to do these fun things. Suz and I also took the kids to this little water park in town. It was really fun and not too crowded. Overall it was a great week, but we were super excited for Friday to come so we could be with Matt again.

Friday we met Matt in Plano. We ate a quick lunch at Mi Cocina (and even tho it seems like I live in Mexican Restaurant Capital USA, Mi Cocina is still our favorite) and then we were off to wedding number 2 in Stephenville. This time it was on Matt's side of the family. His cousin Emily got married. Again it was a weekend full of family fun festivities. It was so good seeing everyone and seeing Emily and Austin get married. She was stunning, and the wedding was gorgeous. We all had a great time.

Sunday morning we hit the road and coming home together had never been sweeter. We had a wonderful 2 weeks, but boy was it ever good to be home!!!

Here is the last of my pictures...Tyler and the 2 weddings. YAY! I am finally caught up on my BLOG!!!
