Happy 6 years!!

So I came to the study to begin my anniversary post for my sweet hub only to find a dozen red roses sitting here with a new screen saver flashing "Happy Anniversary" at me. Once I logged in to blogger I found that my guy beat me to the punch with a guest blog entry. Oh how I love him.

6 years ago I could not WAIT one more second to be Mrs. Matthew Mullins. I wanted to actually run to him waiting for me at the end of the aisle. I love being his wife. I love this life we share together. I still love referring to him as my husband or being introduced as his wife. I still get butterflies when he kisses me and excited butterflies when I know he's about to get home. I tear up when he leaves for a business trip, and I tear up when I know I get to see him again after it's been a while. I am 100% totally smitten and in love with Matt Mullins.

6 years later there is a whole new depth to our love and it is falling in love with him as a father. He's the best daddy to our kids. He loves to play with them and to just 'be' with them. As you can see from the picture below Hudson and Harper love being with their daddy who is also their jungle gym. On the weekends Matt lets me sleep in because he wants those first few hours with the kids by himself (and because he wants me to have a morning break). He defines the phrase 'hands on daddy'. Sharing the name 'parent' with Matt is one of the greatest joys in my life.
