Our weekend...

We found out Wednesday that Matt's sisters were going to come visit us on Thursday. We were so happy for them to come. I have to say that I love being a sister. I am so thankful for my brother and sister and I love them more than words could ever express. I could not have hand picked the 2 sisters-in-law that I have been blessed with. I adore them and love that I get to call them my sisters. They are so much fun and I (well, all of us) always love getting to spend time with them.

Melissa's real reason for the visit was to make her first grown-up purchase. She bought a brand spankin new BEAUTIFUL Toyota Highlander. She looks super hot driving it too! She needed some help and moral support buying it, so big brother Matt spent the latter part of Friday haggling and doing the dirty work for Mel. It all paid off and they got a great deal. We are just happy that the one she wanted ended up being here in SA. We celebrated her new car dinner Friday @ Chuy's. And Lauren, the new bride-to-be, is just glowing with that newly engaged glow. We can't wait for her and Tyson to be married in June. We have loved him like family for a long time now...it's time we make it 'official'.

It was a quick trip, but we loved having them as long as we could. Hudson and Harper especially loved the entertainment and attention. They are such sweet aunts and play and love on the kids the entire time they are around them.

We have busy times ahead for us. In 2 weeks the kids and I are heading to OK for a week with Matt's fam (yeah, not too sure about that 7 hr drive by myself). 2 wks after we return the 4 of us head to Disneyland for a week, and then 2 wks after we return from CA Matt and I head back to CA for a week in San Francisco. I know I will turn around and it'll be November. I am looking forward to each of these vacations....especially our Disney trip. I think Matt and I are more giddy about it than anyone. Special memories with my family. I know one day I'll look back and treasure these memories with them. They are only 2 and 4 once ya know.

Here is the best $ we spent this summer. We bought a BOB Revolution Duallie and oh how we love this stroller. Why we waited so long for this purchase, I'll never know! It's good for walks/runs, Sea World, and we look forward to putting many miles on it next month @ Disneyland.
