This week marks 4 years of being a blogger!! I am so excited about this and just amazed that I have kept it going for so long. I want to have my blog made into a book (have any of you done this??), but I just haven't stopped to actually sit down and do it.
I love that all of my memories as a mama are documented on here. When I started 4 years ago I just had a 3 month old baby boy and was such a rookie (and still am) in this whole parenting thing. What a journey these last 4 years have been!
This blog is such a treasure to me. I already love going back and reading things we were doing this time 2 years ago, 3 years ago, and now 4 years ago!!! WOW!
SOOOO...Just like last year I am going to have an ALLISON'S FAVORITE THINGS GIVEAWAY!!!! I am excited about this because last year was so much fun for me! I feel I set the bar pretty high on last year's anniversary post, but this year will be BIGGER and BETTER! I already have a few ideas up my sleeve!

ReplyDeleteSo fun! I have been reading your blog since I found out about your blog, whenever that was. :) I think probably around 3 years ago. I think you were still pregnant with Harper. Anyway, I have loved reading, and of course, I STILL love reading! You are such a positive, enthusiastic mama, and it is encouraging to see the love you have for H and H, and the wonderful joy you find in being their mother. You are a great example of a wife, mother, and Christian, and I love reading your blog and learning from your example. Love you!

As for turning your blog into a book...I have done several of those. Blurb.com is my favorite site to use for this. Wish you were closer and I would show you my books in person! Hope that helps!

I have been reading your blog since you moved to SA and it only took me a couple of months to figure out that you live like a mile away from me and yet we still have not actually met in person. Oh well, I just recently met someone I have been friends with for 4 years and never saw face to face till Sunday! If I win we will HAVE to met so I can pick up the prize....how about that?

ReplyDeleteHey, I've been searching for a place to do the blog to book thing. I used Blurb.com to do our wedding book and really liked it. It was easy. Not sure if there is anything out there better, but I am kind of looking. If you find something good, let me know and I will do the same.
