Going to the Dentist...

Yesterday I took the kids to get their teeth cleaned. Always a fun experience. No really, they love going to the dentist. I love going to the dentist. I love the feeling afterwards of how clean your mouth feels. I get that same feeling come over me when I see those same tools digging in my kid's mouth. I love clean teeth!! This was Harper's first visit to the dentist. She looked so little up there getting her x-rays done, but she did great! I took a lot of pictures because in Hudson's class at school they just started their dental unit on Wednesday. I rushed to have the pictures developed afterwards so he could take them today and share with his class how BRAVE he and Harper were at the dentist. My Hudman has a 'sticky' spot in the very back of his mouth (aka a cavity starting), so we have to go back in 2 weeks to have this little spot fixed. I knew about it last time, but we decided to wait until this visit to check on it. It is behind his last molar. She said it is small and he won't have to have a...."shot". Hopefully Hudson will do good. He really loves going to the dentist, but I am worried that he will freak out. He will have some laughing gas, so that will be interesting. I am not telling him he has a cavity. I just said we get to go back and visit the dentist again in 2 weeks. He said, "Yippee!!" Haha...we shall see if we leave there with a "Yippee!"

In other news.....Matt and I will be HERE (picture below) on Sunday for a week!! We are going to the Riveria Maya. It is in between Cancun and Palaya Del Carmen. It is our first visit there, so we are looking forward to it. Matt's parents are coming Saturday night to spend the week here having a San Antonio staycation. On their itinerary is: Sea World, Fiesta Texas, Children's Museum, & Riverwalk just to name a few things. I don't think we will be missed, or have time to be missed. Matt's sister Melissa will come up for a few days too to see the kids. I know they will have a great time. I CANNOT wait to be away on a beach with my man, soak up some rays, and get lost in a good book....and of course have NO to-do list. Ahhhhh!!! Can't wait!!!
