Catching Up!

Boy, does it already feel like summer around here.  I feel like just this weekend I have been able to stop and catch my breath!  We have been super busy, but having a great time!!  Hudson finished preschool with the Marvelous Monkey class.  It was a wonderful year at his preschool.  I can hardly wait to watch him grow even more next year in the 5 year old pre k class.....and Ms. Harper, well, she would start tomorrow if we would let her.  This little girl loves all things social and is dying to go to 'school'.  I am excited for her!  I won't know what to do with myself next year having a couple of days a week all to myself.  I know I will miss them like crazy tho!

Superman Hud, Knight Thomas, and Spiderman Cager

We have had some fun play dates already.  We met up with friends at Chuck E Cheese one morning and had a total blast.  We were the only crew in there, so we mamas & kiddos really enjoyed ourselves.  Hudson had 2 buddies over to play one day while Harper went over to a friends house.  These boys had so much fun!  They dressed up and played & played.  I love listening to little boys & their imaginations at work.  Their super hero imagination is just so stinkin cute!!

Oh the cuteness!!!  These 4 girls are just too much!!
Addie, Harper, Karli, and Bethany
Thomas, Hud, and Cager
We had a pizza party on our last swim day & had all of the daddys join in on the fun!!
Sweet Emersyn!  Oh how we love our Emmy-girl!!
These boys were so cute catching the football!

Last week we finished up 2 weeks of swim lessons for Hudson and Harper.  It was great!  We spent each afternoon at the neighborhood pool of my friend, Jennifer.  We really had  a lot of fun.  The kids definitely loved it, and especially loved being with their friends each day.  Smelling sun screen, doing loads of laundry of swimsuits and beach towels each day, sure made it feel like summer time was in full force!  The kids did great and learned so much.  Hudson and Harper have one more session in June of private lessons.  We are looking forward to that!

Part of the crew in Gruene for lunch!
Dad, me, and Shelley waiting for our table @ the Gristmill.  (YUM)!
Getting me some Camden love!!  Yes, I will have a nephew in August.  I can't wait to get my hands on that sweet boy!  He is one loved little guy.  One of my favorite moments of the weekend was when I was talking to him and he was just kicking me like crazy.  I know he loves me!  :)
Harper hamming it up for the camera.  (all you have to say to get this face is, "Harper, be a princess.").
Toy Story time with UNK!
Having some River Walk fun!

Suzy Q, Colt, and Matt @ Casa Rio

Last weekend was a BLAST!  My dad, Shelley, Paul, Matt, Colt, and Suz (Camden too) all came to see us. We had so much fun!!  We loved every minute of it.  We met them in Gruene on Sat for lunch at the Gristmill.  Nothing beats Gruene!  We had a great lunch.  We headed home, took the crew to church with us, and then had dinner at La Cantera.  Sunday the boys all went tubing the Guadeloupe River, while the girls, kids, and dad went back to La Cantera for some PF Changs and shopping.  Dad's a trouper!  HA!  Sunday evening we all loaded up to go to the River Walk for some much needed Mexican food at Casa Rio.  It was fantastic!!

Everyone left on Monday morning.  We weren't ready for them to go...that's how you know it was a good visit!!  Def did not wear out their welcome!!

This weekend we have had 2 sickies with viruses.  Not fun, but it has been good just being lazy.  I can't believe it is June in 2 days!  What on earth!?!?!  We have a lot of fun in the works coming up!!  I hope to be better at catching up!!

Some sweet sibbie super hero love!  (you can just tell that Harper is grinning from ear to ear behind that mask).

HAPPY SUMMER EVERYONE!!!!

Wow Allison, all the pictures and the recap of our trip just makes me want to be back there again right now. We had so much fun. It was great having everyone together. We will definitely have to do that again and maybe Josh can come the next time. Y'all have a safe and fun trip to Colorado. Hope the kiddos are well too. Love y'all! Grammy

  4. Looks like you all have had a great time! I love summer and it looks like you are starting it out with a big bang! All of you have met wonderful friends!

Suzanna's "growing Camden tummy" is precious. Of course, Curtis still think the Gruen ribs are the best anywhere around!
