Haper's Birthday & the 4th of July

Harper's 3rd birthday was just perfect.  It was exactly what she wanted...a PINK DINOSAUR PARTY!  It was the cutest little party ever.  It was just family and it was at the lake.  She had a ball!  Grammy outdid herself in all of the preparations for the party.  Harper said all day long that she was "FREE" (3)!  It was so cute.
Some of these are repeats, but I love them too much not to post again!
Get those LIPS out girl!!!  I love it!  Don't you love how she is surrounded by the paparazzi??
Mmmmm....that cake was YUMMY!

The rest of the weekend was so much fun.  We spent time with all of my family which was great.  My mom went all out having the most wonderful dinners EVER.  We loved it.  We got to see my grandmother plenty which is always nice.  We had a great time out on the lake too.  It could not have been a more perfect weekend.
You CANNOT beat watching the fireworks out on the lake.  It just doesn't get any better than that!
Hud and Daddy Pops
Tubing fun!  Harper says she is ready to ski...Not this summer!!  :)
A great picture of the boys tubing.  LOVE IT!
Having a sweet moment with my girl.
Suzy Q and Sarah all ready to go back out
The MASTER GRILLER himself.  Better than Bobby Flay!  :)
Colt caught a turtle for Harper.  Ohhh was it ever the key to her heart!!  She loved "Tiny Tim" the turtle.  It was love at first sight.  (no we did not keep him...we let him go back to his mommy).
Fun at my mama's house.  Please keep John in your prayers too.  A tumor was found in his colon this past week.  Scary stuff for sure.  Praying for the very best!
This one is just a favorite of mine from the week because it was such a precious moment.  We had dinner at my moms and my aunt Jean was there with my grandmother. She is my grandfather's older sister.  She is just a fantastic lady.  Well, we were eating dinner and all of a sudden Harper and Jean disappeared and were under the table playing.  I don't know many ladies who are pushing 80 that will go under a table with a 3 year old to play.  It was just so funny.  You should SEE under my dining room table now.  It is Harper's favorite spot to play now.

It was such a fun weekend.  From start to finish it could not have been any better...well, except the fact we were missing my brother who was HERE floating the river.  BOO!  It's a definite new tradition to be in Tyler for the 4th.  It was the best!!

****And coming up soon:  Hudson's 5th Birthday party, and Harper's BIG GIRL ROOM!!!!****

I loved re living the 4th of July week end and Harper's Big 3rd birthday with your words and pictures. We had so much fun. Planning her party is by far one of the most fun things I have ever done. I never had "little" girls until Harper came along. She is really special to me. I'm glad the 4th will be a tradition. Always looking forward to our next time together. Love y'all, Grammy
