Friday was Hudson and Harper's parade at school.  They got to wear their costumes and then parade around the upper mall area at church.  I loved it last year, and this year was just as cute.  The kids were so precious.  Hudson chose to be Anakin Skywalker this year.  He is one big Star Wars fan, so we were not the least bit surprised with his decision.  Harper was swayed by mama and was "Dor-la-fee" (SO CUTE hearing her say it that way).  I just think little girls dressed up as Dorothy is SO STINKIN CUTE!!!  She was excited and loved carrying her Toto.  Her Dorothy cuteness was almost too much to handle.  I loved it.

Sweet Hud was such a trooper.  He DID NOT want to take pictures because he was SO READY to go trick or treating.  (why I don't have too many of Anakin).  I think we heard 'how much longer' about a thousand times yesterday. 

Last night Matt took the kids up and down our street to trick or treat.  I stayed put outside and passed out candy with my neighbors outside.  It's so much fun here because everyone brings out their lawy chairs and hangs out in their front yards to pass out candy.  It is one of my favorite times each year.  Matt and the kids weren't gone too long trick or treating, & when they returned we had some great little helpers hand out the candy.  It is so fun living in a young neighborhood with kids out everywhere.  The kiddo traffic is pretty consistent all evening long.  It's great.  I couldn't help but think about our lives this time next year as I was sitting there feeling Holton's kicks and jabs all night.  Hudson is pretty set on having him be Yoda next year.  Maybe we can pull off a Star Wars Halloween with the 3....gotta get sister on board with that one...she's quick to say, "that is NOT my favorite show."  :)

Our sweet little neighbor down the street was a "lolly pop kid" and they came up to take a picture with Dorothy.  They were a pretty cute pair.
