The kids had their Thanksgiving Feast today at school on Friday. This party was one of my favorites from last year, and this year was just as cute. Seeing those little Indians, Pilgrims, and Turkeys is just the cutest thing EVER!! Hudson's lunch was at 11 and Harper's was at 12 so we got to enjoy everyone's feast. Matt was able to make it too which was such a treat for the kids. Something about Daddy showing up for parties at school makes it extra special.

This week is a
BIG week! I hit the
BIG 30 on Thanksgiving day. Our holidays this year are a bit different than before because of my not being able to travel this year. It'll just be the 4 of us for Thanksgiving. We plan on taking the kids to Sea World on Thanksgiving day/birthday...pretty confident it'll be empty. Then we'll head downtown to the Market Square by the river walk and have lunch at
Mi Tierra. Mexican food on Thanksgiving day sounds good to us! :) As much as we'll miss being with family, we are excited to have it be just us. I think when we stop and think about how our lives are about to change in a few more weeks, it makes us want to stop and just enjoy these sweet little moments of our family of 4.
Sounds like a fun little birthday plan. I could easily trade in turkey and dressing for chips and hot sauce. You just have yourself a fun relaxing day. I hope your 30 year old birthday is one of your BEST! Love you!
ReplyDeleteCute Thanksgiving feast...I even recognize their classmates now! Of course, Hud and Harper make the cutest Indian and Pilgim!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to really miss seeing you all at Thanksgiving too...and your birthday! Your "plans" sound fun though and we will see you all in two weeks...can't wait!
cute. I love the school pics. :) Also, I think that the birthday/T-day plans sound WAY FUN! I would love to do those things. I think we are doing sea world in spring for our vacation. :)
