I absolutely love this time of year. Exactly right now this time of year. We have one more 'full' week of school for the kids, and then it's our CHRISTMAS BREAK! I love the build up of anticipation that happens right now. Matt every year takes 2 full weeks off of work, which is so wonderful, and we always have the best time. Usually it is spent traveling to visit family, but this year our family is coming to us. This weekend we are celebrating Christmas with Matt's family, and the following weekend my family (CAMDEN) is coming to spend the weekend and celebrate Christmas with us. I am so ready to get my hands on my sweet little nephew. He's 4 months old now and so precious! It'll be wonderful!
We are getting closer and closer to our sweet little Holton's arrival. The excitement is building by the day. As much as I love this little man baking away in my tummy, I can't wait for him to be in my arms. And as much as I am so thankful for every passing, healthy week of this pregnancy, I cannot wait to be on the sleep deprived side of this journey. After Christmas, Holton is welcome to come join us any time he pleases...on his terms, of course.
This year our Christmas card was very low key. I just wasn't feeling it this year, but wanted to have something to send out. We just did a picture of the kids (the one above) in Christmas pj's in front of our tree. I think it turned out pretty sweet for a total last minute idea. A few of our cutie out takes are below.
Hudson and Harper are SO excited for Christmas. They can hardly wait. It'll be kind of nice to have a "Christmas" every weekend for the next 3 weeks. They are so precious and bring such an extra bundle of joy to us during the holidays. I cannot imagine our lives this time next year. I am sure I'll be in disbelief that I'll almost have a 1 year old. I could not have dreamed of more. I am so thankful for all of the sweet blessings in my life.

Love your tree! So bright and colorful. Is that ribbon something that you just cut up and tied onto the branches? I would love to do something like that but don't quite know how...
