Swim Lessons

Today was our FINAL day of swim lessons.  YAY!  It was great fun and the kids did excellent.  Aside from Harper's occasional melt-down (from the water being too cold) they rocked it!  Hudson is such an amazing swimmer.  I can't get over his technique when he's really focused.  You can just tell he loves being out there swimming and diving.  Harper did really great too.  I would not call her a full blown 'swimmer' yet, but she really knows her stuff and when she tries hard she can do it all.  I am just thankful she loves being in the water and isn't afraid.  I think if we keep on building off of these last two weeks, she'll be amazing by the end of the summer.
Hud is such a great diver.  He can dive to the bottom of the deepest part pool for diving sticks.  I think that is his favorite thing to do.

Harper doing awesome!
This picture Harper is an elephant jumping in the water (notice the trunk).  I wish you could hear her noises.  Everything she did was animal related.  Most days she was a sea lizard.  She is so stinkin' funny!  And Markay TOTALLY speaks Harper's language which is too cute.

This is our favorite swim teacher, Markay...(and our favorite babysitter).  We have been going to her house for the last 2 weeks for almost 2 hours each day.  The kids have had private lessons which, to me, is the way to do it.  The one on one is so good for them.  She has taught the kids lessons the last 3 summers.  This is her last summer to do it---we are sad about that!
All warm and toasty now.  Markay's sweet mom would WARM up Harper a towel in her dryer and bring it out to her when her lessons were over.  She is such a sweet grandmother.  You can just tell by how she is with the kids.

This little guy has done so good.  He just chills by the pool with me, takes a good nap, and is such a great sport.
Doesn't this picture just SCREAM out Summer time JOY??  It brings such a smile to my face.

Our Pittard friends had lessons right after us each day.  It was pretty tough on the kids because we would be finishing up as they were arriving.  They wanted to play together SO BAD.  So we would say a quick hello and then leave as soon as possible so we would not interrupt their lessons.  Today Ms. Markay let the boys jump in and have a little 5 minute fun together.  They loved it.

Aren't they so cute???

Now it's officially SUMMER TIME!  No more schedule...just fun and play dates!  I am so excited!
My happy boy just chillin.  This is how he hangs out in his bouncy chair, FEET UP!  Aren't those baby rolls just scrumptious???

Harper taking her baby for a ride.

And I close with this precious boy this morning.  My goodness his sweetness is overflowing!!
