6 MONTHS OLD!!

My baby is 6 MONTHS OLD--- 1/2 A YEAR!  Seriously, how can that be??  Oh how he is the sweetest love bug there ever was.  He's the happiest, silliest, sweetest, most lovable baby.  We are having a blast with him.  These last 6 months have flown by faster than any moment of time in my life.  He has brought so much joy to our lives.  Hudson and Harper are the best biggest brother and big sister to him.  I always knew they would love having a baby around, but I never dreamed they would be this crazy in love with their baby brother.  Holton Matthew is pure JOY.  He just radiates it.

I have all 3 kiddos well-check appointments on Friday (6, 4, 6 mo)....AND I am doing this all by MYSELF.  Am I crazy???--well, that is up for debate.  I am really curious to see how much they all have grown.  I am sure we'll hit up Sonic happy hour after that big appointment. 

 

 

--- On another note, tonight as I am sitting here I cannot help but think back on my life 6 years ago.  This time 6 years ago I was in a hospital bed at Baylor Hospital in Grapevine getting ready to have my first baby the next day.  It was a Tuesday night just like today.  Matt and I were soo excited and sooo stinkin nervous.  We were getting thrown into the world of parenthood whether we were ready or not.  We could not wait to meet Hudson.  They gave me an Ambien to help me sleep and it made me an emotional nut.  It's funny now when I think back on it.  What a sweet and special night that was with Matt.  I'll never forget it.  I can't believe Hudson will be 6 tomorrow....6 years old!  How I would love to hold that sweet newborn baby just one more time.  Hudson Paul is one of the sweetest blessings I have ever received.  He made me a mommy 6 years ago, and I have never been the same since.  I'm looking forward to celebrating my first born tomorrow.
