Huddy is 6!!

6 years ago today a little after 1 pm I became a mommy.  I'll never forget the flood of emotions that day held.  To FINALLY see and hold that baby boy that I had grown to love so much over the last 9 months.  To see that face that turned our newly married world upside down and shaken all around!  HA--in a good way of course.  We were thrown into the world of parenthood much sooner than we planned, but hey--life sure happens when you make plans, and I wouldn't change anything for one second.

I am so thankful for this big boy of mine.  He sure challenges me on a daily basis.  If I am being honest here, I would have to admit that currently this stage of parenting has been the toughest.  To have these little people with such STRONG opinions that obviously conflict with mine (or with each other) is a daily lesson of parenting that I am trying to figure out.

Hudson is serious and a thinker.  He challenges us with his thoughts and questions.  Don't get me wrong, he is so funny and is such a goofball.  However, if you were to first meet him you definitely would not see his goofy side.  He'd have to feel you out first.  It amazes me how babies are born with their personality.  Hudson as a baby is Hudson today.  Same personality just BIGGER.

I adore him and believe wholeheartedly that God has big plans for this guy.  He very much is a strong willed little man, and I pray desperately that God uses that strong will of his for His glory. 

These past 6 years have been wonderful.  He has brought us so much joy, laughter, and sheer happiness.  It is a privilege to be Hudson's mommy.

I'm so thankful for our little, ok BIG, surprise that God blessed us with 6 years ago....Hudson Paul hasn't for one minute quit surprising us!  Life with him is a ride that's for sure!!
