Sunday we arrived in Tyler in the early afternoon to a crowd at my mother and John's house. Suepa, my aunt and uncle, cousin Jennifer and her daughter Zoe, my sister, BIL, and nephew were all there. I was thrilled to be home and so happy to see everyone. My grandmother was busy in the kitchen cooking away her famous tacos and the kids took off playing. It was a wonderful Sunday.

| Zoe---she is one of the most precious little girls there ever was. |

 |
| My Cammy Poo. It kills me that we aren't closer to this precious boy. |
 |
| My great-aunt Jean. She is my Jimpa's older sister. She just turned 80 earlier this month. Harper a few years ago asked her to play with her under the dining room table and Jean of course being the sweetheart she is--DID. Well, each time we see her, Harper ALWAYS asks Aunt Jean to play under the table. How many 80 year olds do you know that would crawl under a table to play with a 4 year old???? I hope I look as good as Aunt Jean when I'm 80 (Lord willing I live to be 80), but I hope I'm as young in spirit as she is when I am 80. |

Later that night on Sunday after most of the company left we opened presents together. It was terrific and we all were super spoiled (again). It was so good to spend a few nights at my moms house. My brother and sister (and her family) all stayed as well. We had not all stayed there together in years so it was extra special. The rest of our time with mom and John was spent with delicious home cooked meals, shopping, & playing. It was a wonderful, special visit....and of course went by FAR too fast.

Wonderful pictures of a great family Christmas reunion! Karen
ReplyDeleteCan not believe your Aunt Jean crawled under that table to play with Harper! That is SO SO SO sweet. And yes, I, too, hope that I have that much spunk and energy when I am 80...and hoping I make it that far, too! ;)
