THANKSGIVING PART 1

Thanksgiving started off with a BANG this year.  We had 2 of THE MOST PRECIOUS school events to attend the Friday before Thanksgiving.  That Friday was a bit crazy because I volunteered to help with Harper's Thanksgiving feast back in September long before I knew Hudson was going to have a Native American program that same morning at his school.  It all worked out, and I made it to each event with time to spare.

Thanksgiving programs are hands down my favorite of the year.  Seeing little pilgrims and Indians is just about the cutest things I have ever seen.  Matt took the morning off of work and helped me out with our littlest H so I could go quick from one event to the next.

Hudson's program was the sweetest little thing I had ever seen.  It reminded me of how little Kindergartners are.  Seeing those sweet little 5 and 6 year olds up there singing and chanting was hilarious and sooo SWEET.  The kind of sweet that you constantly are tearing up every 5 seconds.  Huddy did great, preformed like a champ, and even got to hold up the "thank you sign" at the very end of the program.  (BIG DEAL to him--- :)  We absolutely LOVED every minute of watching our biggest boy, and could not get enough of how cute our "Fast Bull" was.

It was this moment when we walked in the classroom and Hudson's teacher was reading that I had that ache of "I want to go back and teach Kindergarten again."  I haven't had that feeling...but this was my favorite part.  I loved reading to my class.  I loved having the kids gather on the rug and our sweet conversations---but reading to them---my favorite.
Look at that good boy listening so well, and SO not distracted by his crazy paparazzi mama taking pictures of him.  :)

I thank God every day for this precious woman.  Hudson is crazy about her.

After Hudson's program we were able to go back to his classroom and snap a few pictures and then check our guy out of school early for our Thanksgiving break!  What a treat!  He had the full week off which was wonderful.  He was so excited and ready for a break.  We all were.  The boys went home and off I went to help set up and serve at Harper's feast.  The boys met later up at Harper's preschool for the BIG Thanksgiving Feast.  Hudson had fun visiting his old preschool and enjoyed himself a big ol' feast for lunch.  Sweet Matt took Hudson back to work with him for the rest of the day.  The kids love that.  Matt gives them cokes, candy, and snacks...which they think is SO COOL.  They took my laptop and Hudson watched movies and he played with his pirates in the conference room.  Hud loved it.
I love my Fast Bull!

Once we got the preschool feast all set up and ready, entered THIS LITTLE CUTENESS....

Harper and "Linky"...her friend Lincoln that she calls Linky.  They are pretty cute together and good friends.
