Random happenings

I have a bazillion pictures that don't really 'fit' in a certain blog post, but I love them and want to share them on my blog.  Some date back a few months ago, and some were pretty recent.  This blog post will be 100% the pictures doing the talking, but really--those are my favorite kind of blog posts anyway.

These pictures above were taken right before Christmas when Matt's fam came to visit.  Lauren, my sil, captured the sweetest pictures of Harper on her fancy camera.  Those gorgeous brown eyes....love them!!  I also love the picture of Harper and Tyson.  He's such a great uncle, and my kids love him.
I decided I would go ahead and fill Hayes in on the surprise baby that he is.  This was his expression of shock.  :)  Love those blue eyes!!
I took the little boys for a quick trip to Target before Valentine's.  Holton was so precious with the little stuffed animals....BUT do not be fooled by the tender moment here.  This boy....let's just say I could not get out of Target any faster if I tried.  OH my did he need a nap and did he get one when we got home.  I sure love this 2 year old baby boy more than anything....I joke saying God must have made 2 year old so cute because they can be pretty challenging at times.  :)
Harper and Holton have become quite the little friends.  They play puppies in Holton's pack and play in our bedroom almost daily.  They are a pretty cute pair.  I love my middles.
Matt and Hudson went to a Spurs game a couple of weeks ago.  Hudson LOVED it.  The boy was in basketball heaven.  This year he has really become a sports nut.  He and Matt have had a lot of fun watching games together.
This was a daddy/daughter Starbucks date before preschool.  Harper took a few books and they read together.  I love that Matt will do this with her.  She feels so special and so loved, and I love that for her.  I want her to always know what a treasure she is to us.  She is adored.
SUPERBOWL!  I attempted to get a family pic with my phone of all of us in the picture.  Turned out pretty grainy, but we had fun together.  That is one full sofa right there.
UNK and Lex came for dinner a week ago.  We made meatball subs and it was quite a hit.  I love my brother and love that he will drive an hour and a half to come see us.  The kids adore him.  I can't say that anyone can come close to getting the laughter out of this bunch like he can.  It's always fun when Unks around.  :)

These pics were taken in January.  I think these 2 pictures are so sweet.  Lauren was in transition from being a hospice nurse to becoming a NICU nurse in Fort Worth.  She had a few weeks off in between which was such an added bonus for us because we saw her 2 times back to back.  We were all spoiled by that!

Matt took the big kids camping with friends a few weeks ago.  I love that these sweet daddies do this.  It is the kids most FAVORITE time EVER.  No doubt about it.  They love every minute of it.  It is such sweet memories for the daddies, but how fun for the kids to have these memories with their friends.  They come home so exhausted and SO dirty, and FULL of stories.
I love being a mom of a houseful of boys.  I could sit and listen to a little boy play for hours.  I love the noises and I love how the best playing happens on your belly.  It really is SO cute.
This picture was taken after it had been cold several days and we FINALLY were able to go outside and play.  I love Harper's sassy pose.
My handsome 1st grader ready for school.  He is looking so big to me.  He is doing so great in school.  We have had a wonderful year so far.  He has grown and learned so much, and his reading is unbelievable.  I couldn't be prouder of him.

Sweet, sweet girls.  I love this friendship and I love these girls.

This guy was happy to be a part of Harper's party.

These pictures were taken at Harper's Valentine's Day party on Wednesday.  I had the little boys with me.  I usually keep Holton strapped in the stroller, but this day I let him out.  He thought he was SO big.  This picture above was during the prayer.  Holton was trying SO hard to keep his hands off that doughnut.  You can see him looking at it.  He make me laugh all the time.  I love that boy.

And look who is in a picture..... :)  I am so bad about always being behind the camera and never in the picture.  Matt took this the other day and I love how full my arms are.....reflective of the way my heart feels.  Bursting with love for these 4.
