Mullins Tribe : First and Last of preschool and 1st grade.

First day and Last Day of 1st grade.

First day and Last day of Preschool.

We just finished preschool and 1st grade! Here we go summer!! I am so proud of Hudson and Harper. They had the best school year and have just soared. Harper was a ladybug again this year with Mrs. Woodard. We love her so much and have been so blessed to have her twice. Mrs. Woodard told us that she can't imagine starting school in the Fall without Harper in her class. The two of them certainly have an extra special bond. Getting this extra bonus year with Harper just like I did with Hudson was one of the greatest blessings. Having them home one more year, Matt and I would both say it, was the greatest decision we have made as parents. Just watching Hudson these last 2 years in school confirmed to us countless times that it was the right decision and we are confident we will feel the same way with Harper. They begin school with such a greater advantage being 1 year older.

Hudson is so ready for 2nd grade, and there is no doubt our Harper-girl is ready for Kinder. (I'm just thankful we have 3 months until it's time---she may be ready, but I am NOT).

I have this feeling that when Hudson is graduating high school and someone asks who was his best teacher, no doubt it will be Hudson's 1st grade teacher. I was blown away with her the first day we met, and she has blown me away ever since. She was born to be a teacher. My boy left her class so strong, such a confident reader, and I couldn't be prouder of him.
