Easter weekend, as you all know, was freezing. Hudson has yet to wear his Easter clothes because this past weekend was cold too! Oh well! My mom and sister ended up coming here to visit us. It was a fun weekend. We went to church Saturday night, and I have to say it was BY FAR the most amazing Easter service I have ever been to. The worship was amazing, the sermon was excellent, and it was a FULL HOUSE! Not an empty seat in the building. It was great!
Matt's mom then came early that week and helped finish up the kids bathroom. It looks so GOOD! Better than I hoped for! Thank you soooo much Mini for ALL your hard work!!!
Last weekend was super fun! Matt's sisters and a boyfriend came and spent the weekend with us. They kept Hudson for us Friday night while Matt and I went on a date. We went and at at Joe T. Garcia's. It was our first time to eat there and it was really good. We had to sit inside because of the horrible weather that came to visit us. We definitely want to go back and sit outside. It is beautiful out there! Then we left grabbed Starbucks and went downtown FW to see Perfect Stranger. It was good. It was one of those movie where you are trying to predict what's going to happen and then of course you are wrong. We left the movie and came home and stayed up talking with everyone until WAY TOO LATE! It was fun catching up. Saturday we did nothing all day. Just took it easy. Matt and Tyson got a lot of home projects complete. Hudson's big boy bed is now put together in his room. He is not sleeping on it yet, but it is put together. I love it and his new bedding is so cute on it. They also hung Harper's window treatments up. It makes the room. I love it!
Thursday night we are leaving and going to Tyler for the weekend. My grandmother is moving to Sulpher Springs in 2 weeks. It's crazy to imagine her not being in Tyler. She has been there in the same house my entire life. I am a very sentimental person, so this move is sad for me. She is giving Matt and I some of her furniture so we are renting a UHAUL to bring the stuff back with us. I am looking forward to spending the weekend at home.
Pregnancy update: I am now 28 weeks and feeling pretty good. I am just now starting to get the aches and pains of this pregnancy. I can't complain though because I felt bad with Hudson from the beginning. Everything is going well. I can't believe in less than 3 months she will be here! We are so excited!!!

Tomorrow is Matt's birthday!!! I could not let this blog entry go by without saying Happy Birthday to the most wonderful man I know. He is my bestfriend and truly the love of my life. I love sharing everyday with him. He is a WONDERFUL husband and daddy. Life with Matt just gets better and better!!

I'm with Leslie--I want to see Harper's room too!! We live in a tiny little apartment (only for 1 more year), so I am jealous of all of the fun decorating you get to do!! I love the picture of Hudson in Matt's shoes. Kennan loves to do that too, only sometimes he wears my heels!! Yikes!!

ReplyDeleteI love the picture of Hudson in the shoes. Jackson also loves to wear our shoes. It cracks me up to see little kids walking around in their parents' shoes.
I am printing off these pictures so I can take them to Christine at the hospital. She loves keeping up with everyone, but no internet there! I posted some photos of her with Jack and they are pretty cute! She is 25 weeks and they anticipate that Sam will need to be delivered around 30-32 weeks. Keep them in your prayers!

Yes, I am totally up for lunch this summer...anytime. And I will definately have to come and play with Hudson and hold Harper when she comes. Yes, I will be at Dr. appt.'s a lot this summer, but would love to have girl time too!! :) Glad we got in touch again. We will have to dinner again like we did tonight...so fun!
Yes, Casey and I did try the Wed. group, but Wed are so not good for us. We are so exhausted and he works a lot of Wed. nights.
Yes, we kept our group at Heritage because there is only 3 other couples and us and there is another couple that started going that goes to another church of christ. So it is becoming more of a communtity bible study group...kinda!! :)
We are still going to try to get in a group at RHCC...who knows, we got to place membership sometime too!

Hey! I am so excited about the Wiggles concerts! We are buying tickets on Monday for the concert in Houston, and I can't wait! When Jackson saw the Wiggles on the computer screen, he got really excited. I want to get as close as possible! Are you a member of the Wiggles Fan Club? The early password for that one is "racing," and supposedly, they have seats reserved for fan club members. Just so you know! We want to get these boys as close as we can, right?
