Rain, Rain GO AWAY!!!! Come again in August!

OK...is it just me or is this the RAINIEST SPRING EVER??? I hate to complain because in Texas rain=good, but I am ready for some sunshine! It was a super cold, snowy winter, and now a WET spring! So what is it that we do when it rains (of course not storming)???? We play in the rain!!! A muddy, wet boy doesn't bother me. It's the stir crazy little boy who wants to play outside that bothers me....so that's what we do, we play in the rain and puddles. Hudson thinks it's the greatest thing in the world to get wet, so it's fun for us all!

Matt and I are headed to Abilene on Sunday. We are going to lead a Kadesh group. I was totally 100% against going to camp this summer while Matt was 100% for going. Well, we received an e-mail saying they needed group leaders and here we are going on Sunday. I know it will be a great week when it is all said and done. I just hope 8 months pregnant Allison holds up!!! It's a long day for someone who isn't pregnant!! I am looking forward to it though. Matt and I always have such a great time together too. Hudson is going to Tyler for the week. He is ready to go to the lake and play with his grandparents and Nana and Unk! I hear the swimming pool is blown up, the park is ready, and the boat is ready to be launched. He's going to have a blast, so I am excited for him to go. This is really the only week this summer that I am willing to send him away. With Harper's arrival right around the corner I don't want to spend any more time away from him. Once we get back from Kadesh we'll have a bit over 3 weeks to get all ready. Our goal is to have Hudson in his big boy bed. He is ready now since he can climb out of his bed. The little dare devil!

We have a sick boy on our hands too. He has a stomach bug causing him bad diapers and throwing up. It's so sad. Hopefully we'll have a healthy boy (and daddy and mommy) by the weekend. We have sprite and Gatorade on hand...which he loves.

Matt and I were doing stuff in the kitchen when Hudson decided to join us. So he plopped down on the floor with his bay and sippy cup. Since Hudson rarely stops, this was a BIG clue that he was not feeling like himself.
Here Hudson is sleeping in the car. Ok, seriously, I can probably count on one hand the number of times he has slept in the car. I think he looks so sweet.
